- BSBrooke SullivanNov 15, 20251.0BEWARE!!! I have no idea how this hotel has such high ratings! If I could give it negative stars I would. We reserved 2 1 bedroom suites. Our kids stayed in one and my husband and I and our smaller kids stayed in the other. Our room wreaked of cigarette smoke. It was so strong it gave me a headache. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but ended up leaving early because the smell was so bad. We were in town for a baseball tournament and decide to pack up our family of 8 and drive home Saturday just so we didn’t have to breathe in the smoke another night. We will drive 2 hours back to Fairfax in the morning just to not have to stay there. I don’t usually complain or leave bad reviews but I was expecting a lot more after readying the reviews. Do NOT stay here. There are no smoking signs all over the hotel yet our room smelt horrible!! I mentioned it when we checked in but was told they were sold out. When I checked out the next day it was after 2 so I was told I had to be charged. I asked for a refund for the one room that smelled awful ( for one night) but was only offered points towards a free stay. Ummm I will never stay here again!!! Avoid this place!!!!

- KBKelli BakerNov 15, 20254.0I did enjoy my stay however some issues I ran in to were when I went to load my dishwasher the bottom rack didnt even pull out due to corrosion, there was a belt hanging over the extra chair when we arrived, a razor cover on top of the shower surround and when I went to clean my tub for a hot bath there was a hole in the curve of the tub that went all the way through the surround therefore a bath was impossible. There was also no shelf under the sink so the cleaning supplies were on the floor which would be easily accessible by pets or small children. Location and employees were great as always! The $75 pet fee (not deposit) was steeper than we usually pay at other locations.
