  I don’t know how this place has good reviews. Stayed here for two nights and it was utterly unbearable. Microwave surface light and tv didn’t work which is fine. But then the room I was staying in was above the main entrance so anytime the door opened it made noise and vibrations in the room. The a/c would turn off randomly even though it was set to constant fan and make it hot at night. The fire alarm went off at 3am and kept coming back on. The hallway floors are uneven, and they’re dark and dingy. Parking is atrocious. The only good thing is that the bed was comfortable but I wasn’t able to enjoy it because of the noise.

  I'm going to be very honest, because I saw so many recent reviews that aren't so bad; I was extremely surprised by what I walked into upon check-in. I was expecting a decent stay, the pictures and reviews seemed ok. Was I ever in for a surprise.... 1. parking was an absolute nightmare and the building entrance isn't well marked. 2. immediately upon entering the lobby, you're greeted with a very clutter filled check-in area. 3. the smell in the entire building was absolutely foul. 4. while walking across the 3rd floor hallway the floor actually sunk in, through a long stretch of hallway. 5. the first room I was put in wasn't so bad...not clean clean but not horrible. when the front desk asked me to move rooms, due to them not knowing the room wasn't a pet friendly room...the relocated room was AWFUL. 6. after about 10min in the new/reloaded pet friendly room I actually decided to leave. the stench from the room, refrigerator, hallway, and surrounding rooms was unbearable. the light switch plates were cracked, the AC didn't work in the bedroom area and a wire was sticking through the vent, all the dishware looked dingy, there were flies in the hallways, splatters on the walls in the living area/kitchen. nothing looked as clean or updated as the photos online. the swipe card had a sticky spot on it...you get the picture I've stayed with Candlewood before, this location definitely isn't their prized location. the only bright spot was the front desk person was very polite upon check-in.

  at $179.00 a night, I would expect the room to at least be clean. No trash in the trashcans from the previous occupant - (they were full. No food waste in the sink disposal unit (who knows how old that was?) - the room stunk due to this! The reaction when we spoke to the front desk? A very robotic "oh, we do apologize for that. Will there be anything else I can help you with? Enjoy your day, here is your receipt". - Really guys????
