  So much noise!!! It was terrible and we will never stay at this location ever again. Manager wouldn't help w wild kids above us at 10:30pm. People talking loudly in the hall. We needed sleep and didn't get much all night.

  Stayed here on 2/7/26 and 2/11/26 during a business trip. Interacted with multiple staff who were attentive, kind, and helpful. Both rooms were consistently stocked, clean, and the HVAC was quiet. Breakfast was appealing and the kitchen area was clean and well attended. The location is just off the highway and easy to get in and out of. It is close to restaurants and gas stations. I was driving a large RV to and from a trade show and the hotel manager (Todd) helped me secure parking prior to arrival. I travel a LOT and hold high reward statuses at several hotel chains. This was by far one of the nicest things ANY hotel has ever done for me. Even their complimentary rewards member snacks were better than other places I've frequented. I felt safe and welcome. I highly recommend staying at this hotel for any length of time and look forward to staying there again soon.

  Very nice hotel, wonderful breakfast We stayed there for just one night while traveling north. The hotel is quite nice. The room was spacious and very clean. There were plenty of hangers and towels, and the microwave and mini-fridge worked well (although there was no freezer compartment in the mini-fridge). The Wi-Fi was also perfectly fine. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The gym was fine, but we did not use the pool, so I cannot comment on that. Breakfast is available at 6 AM, and it is excellent. The selection is very good, with fruits, cereals, pancakes, eggs, very good bacon, potatoes, hard-boiled eggs, muffins, toast, oatmeal, etc. We could not ask for more, and everything was at the appropriate temperature. The only downside of our stay was that we could not use the nice big TV in our room because there was a problem with the cable, and every channel was either freezing after a few seconds, showing a mosaic pattern, or just displaying a black screen with sound. We reported the issue, but they said they could not do anything because it was a problem on the provider’s side. Spending the evening not being able to watch sports, news, etc., was very inconvenient, but I understand it was out of their hands. Aside from the TV not working, we still had a very pleasant stay, and I definitely recommend this place. We will be back for sure.

  Had a fantastic stay at this Hampton Inn. Staff were really nice, room was spacious and clean. Not many people were staying here so we had the pool and jacuzzi all to ourselves. Breakfast was good and had some nice choices (I’d say it’s similar to other Hampton Inns). Highly recommended in Dumfries.

  This is a typical Hampton Inn, including the excellent breakfast. My room was well stocked and the floor I was on was quiet. The check-in person was fine and the breakfast ladies were cordial. The hotel is in a somewhat awkward location, on a minor road behind a gas station and a Waffle House, next to a local highway.
