    The staff is friendly and well trained. The rooms are comfortable, well equipped and clean. Everything works at this hotel and there is usually enough parking.

    We had a great stay here with my whole family and we had no complaints. It's an easy drive over to Norfolk, and the breakfast was great to get our day started each morning. The gym is small but has all the basics that you'd need for a quick workout.

    While still my favorite chain, this experience left my family's experience a bit wanting this time around. The rooms were clean but nothing to write home about, and for some reason we didn't have a clock. There was also a massive hole in one of the beds mattresses. The pool was out of commission during our stay with no indication it would be that way, souring my kids hotel going experience. The real negative take away from our stay come at breakfast time. I have made a point of getting up early to ensure access to the deliciously delectible reason of patronizing this chain of their Cinnabons. They were fantastic as ever, however when my family came down for breakfast (nearly an hour before close) no more Cinnabons were being prepared, the pancake machine was down, and they refused to make any more bacon. I will give this stay 3 stars as our entire purpose for staying has been considerable truncated to that of a generic, overpriced, and disappointing hotel experience.
