    We were in town for a wedding and our stay was 5 days, the room was very nice. They had a crib for us to use and a step stool to help a shorter people climb into bed. Every day we stayed they cooked different breakfasts, and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

    During my recent stay at the Staybridge Suites Chantilly – Dulles Airport, I experienced an interaction that raised serious concerns about professionalism, guest privacy, and respect for diversity. Early that morning, a staff member entered my room at approximately 8:30 a.m. despite a visible “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door. This intrusion violated the basic expectation of privacy that hotel guests are entitled to. When I later expressed my frustration and concern about this incident at the front desk, the employee Corbin responded by ending our conversation with, “Have a blessed day.” While some may view that phrase as polite, in this context it came across as dismissive and minimizing of my legitimate frustration regarding the privacy breach. Moreover, such a remark presumes a shared religious belief that the employee had no basis to assume in a professional hospitality setting. Under IHG’s brand standard of True Hospitality for Everyone, staff are expected to remain neutral, respectful, and sensitive to the diverse beliefs of guests. I immediately brought this matter to the attention of General Manager Amy Avalos, who manages the property. Rather than addressing the concern with professionalism or empathy, the General Manager was dismissive and even suggested that I would “look crazy” for submitting a formal complaint. Such a response is deeply troubling and inconsistent with IHG’s Code of Conduct, which requires employees and management to treat every guest with dignity, respect, and cultural sensitivity. It is also important to note that Fairfax County is one of the most culturally and religiously diverse areas in Virginia, including Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, Sikhs, and people with secular or non-theistic beliefs. In such a diverse region, maintaining religious neutrality and professionalism in guest interactions is essential to ensuring that all guests feel equally respected and welcome, regardless of personal faith or lack thereof. After reviewing multiple public guest reviews for this location, it appears that other guests have also reported less-than-stellar experiences involving both Corbin and General Manager Amy Avalos. This pattern suggests a potential ongoing issue with staff professionalism and responsiveness that warrants corporate attention. No guest should ever be made to feel disrespected, dismissed, or belittled for voicing valid concerns about their stay. I am submitting this review so that IHG Corporate Guest Relations can review this incident and ensure that appropriate corrective action and retraining are provided at this property.     My Husband & I just finished a 10 week stay here with our two babies for his work. I can’t brag on the staff enough here. They genuinely care about their guests experience and go above and beyond to make sure everyone is always taken care of. They treated my babies like family and spoiled them daily. The space at this location is absolutely incredible. The open fields and pond with a walking path gave us so much room to breathe and grow still being in a huge city and smaller living space. I will forever be thankful for the people at Staybridge Chantilly, and I hope we get to go back soon!💙
