We had an awesome stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton Arlington Rosslyn Key Bridge and couldn’t be happier with our experience.
Will, the GM, truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was great. He was super approachable, checked in on us personally, and gave us some fantastic recommendations for things to do around Arlington and D.C. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and takes pride in the hotel.
Justin at the front desk was just as impressive. Friendly, helpful, and always ready to answer questions or help with anything we needed. He made check-in smooth and made sure we felt welcome the entire time.
Because of Will and Justin, our stay felt easy, comfortable, and honestly just really enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area!
While not the Beverly Wilshire or the service accorded Richard Gere and Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman, Homewood Suites by Hilton does a pretty good job of making the average guest feel pretty special. When we had business to attend to in DC and Rosslyn, we were frequent guests. It has been almost two years since our last visit, but our recent stay had us feeling like we were slipping on a familiar pair of jeans or flannel shirt: welcoming, comfortable, relaxed, and not forgotten. We were greeted warmly and sincerely on arrival, and though the host didn't know us, he treated us - like other guests checking in - as if we were the most important customers to pass his way. We arrived on a Wednesday, and were just in time for on-the-house wine, beer, and appetizers. Though we had dinner plans for later that evening, the appys included salad, BBQ chicken sliders, corn chowder, and some desserts. The food we sampled was excellent, and required some self-control to maintain our appetites for dinner out. Our room was a King Suite, one king bed, a sitting room, and a small kitchenette with full size refrigerator, stove, and an assortment of tools that would accommodate in-room food prep. The room was spotless and clean, the bed comfortable, and the TV channel selections nearly unlimited. Whether we were passing by the front desk heading out, returning from a day's activities, heading to happy hour or breakfast, the front desk (and every staff member we ran into) cheerfully offered dining suggestions, asked about our stay, and really wanted us to be enjoying our stay. A small service area stocked sundry items, beverages and snacks. So... no Beverly Wilshire, but then again, I'm not Richard Gere. But our short DC leisure trip felt very special. We look forward to a return visit, and more to follow.
