I stayed here for several nights and encountered a major issue with the laundry facilities: the washing machines were completely broken, with no signs or prior warnings. When I reported it, the staff member (male, working on Saturday morning February 7) casually said they’d be fixed "on Monday" and showed zero concern or willingness to help. His attitude was dismissive, almost mocking — as if my time and convenience meant nothing.
No alternative was offered, no apology, no compensation. I had to waste my own time calling my bank and running around because of their lack of basic maintenance and communication.
If you expect functional amenities and respectful service, look elsewhere. This place takes your money and leaves you to deal with their failures.

Absolutely—here’s a raving, polished review you can drop straight onto Google, Yelp, or a comment card. If you want it more formal or more casual, I can tweak the vibe.

I cannot say enough good things about the hotel’s cleaning staff. Their attention to detail was truly exceptional and made my entire stay feel comfortable, welcoming, and stress-free. Every time I returned to my room it was spotless, perfectly organized, and smelled fresh—clearly cleaned with care, not rushed.
What stood out most was their consistency and professionalism. The staff was courteous, respectful, and clearly took pride in their work. Little details—fresh linens, neatly arranged amenities, and a room that felt genuinely refreshed—made a huge difference and did not go unnoticed.
The cleaning team here goes above and beyond, and they are a major reason I would happily return and recommend this hotel to others. Outstanding service from an outstanding team.

I have stayed in Holiday Inn hotels all over the US and some internationaly. This by far the the WORST. Do not stay here. The people are crazy rude and they will price gouge you at very turn.
The elevators are horrible. I got stuck in an elevator and then when I told the staff, their supervisor's comment was, what are we supposed to do about it? Take another elevator.
There is also mold in the room. I have attached pictures to show it.
This place should be shutdown. This was such a bad experience, I am thinking about changing my hotel brand.

February 2025... This was my first scheduled layover during the beginning of the month of February. Upon walking through the front doors you get a sense of an upscale stay. However, upon opening my hotel room door it's underwhelming and definitely doesn't fit the first impression you get when first entering the hotel. Unfortunately I wasn't allowed the time to explore the hotels pool, gym, or any other amenities due to the limited time I had. During my short (minimum rest) stay I was informed transportation between the hotel was limited to only the airport. I would like to point out however there is a fast food McDonald's just to the side of the hotel but I definitely recommend stopping in for a nice drink and upscale experience in the hotel restraunt O'Malley's Pub. The food served was delicious and the menu offered a refined dinning experience as you would expect upon entering the large open hotel lobby. Before turning in for the night I was able to get a Lyft/ Uber from the hotel to take me and my female FO to the Lincoln Memorial where we got to explore and take memorable pictures and videos of the Washinton Monument, the Reflecting Pool, Watergate Steps, the Vietnam Veterans, the Korean War Veterans, WW11, M.L.K. Jr. Memorial (the Memorial Circle) and a view of the outside gate of the actual White House during our walk. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a decent stay near the DCA (DC Airport). As always please enjoy the pictures and videos I've attached to this post. For those of you who follow me on social media platforms, mahalo (thank you) for your follow and support. For those of you who appreciate my views pictures and videos please feel free to follow me your fave Airline Hawaiian Flight Attendant Mel🌺🤙🏼as I travel, explore, and eat around the world one scheduled working layover at a time.
We used this hotel for business and personal trip. The only real highlight of this hotel was the business center, but the rest of the hotel was disappointing and definitely was not a three-star experience.
For starters, this hotel was a lot older than the photos portrayed online and it lacked upgrades other older properties have made to accommodate travelers.
We were shocked to discover only one USB plug in the room and very few outlets. The bathroom was small, had no storage space, and lacked modern conveniences available at similarly-priced hotels. It had an older shower head so covered in lime buildup that only few of the showers streams worked.
There was no continental breakfast available, and the breakfast restaurant offered very few options. There was no real room service and delivery people were encouraged to leave items out in the open at the front desk, where they could be picked up by anyone.
The common parts of the hotel, like the lobby, were clean, but the carpet, walls, and hallways seemed dingy. The small store downstairs lacked personal hygiene items like mouthwash. It also had some snacks, but no fresh fruit or other healthy options.
This is a hotel badly in need of renovations.
The parking was In an aging deck, tight to get to, and very expensive. We paid almost $80 just to park for three days. If we had known the parking was going to be so expensive, and the accommodations not even up to three stars as stated online, we would have definitely stayed in a different hotel.
We would not recommend this hotel to others and would not stay there another time for trips, despite traveling to the DC area quite often.
