  Malki was AWESOME ! He picked us up in the beginning of our trip and at the end of trip waiting for us ! We had a hectic time coming home because of the government shut down, but he waited for us after we got off the plane and greeted us with smiles ! He got us to our destination, and closer home Malki you’re awesome !!!

  Holiday Inn National Airport and Crystal City is located a 5-minute drive from the airport, DCA, and the hotel runs a complimentary shuttle service every half an hour to the airport and back. The decor of the hotel is a little dated but it's functional. On the lobby level is the breakfast room and the restaurant and bar together with the conference rooms. On the first floor is the guest laundry and a small but well equipped gym. The rooms are nice but quite small, however they do have a working area and a microwave. It is a great airport hotel only moments away from the airport and from there you also get the metro system if you want to explore the town. Parking however is charged at $44 a day so not excellent if you want to explore by car.

  The night clerk was the rudest person I have ever had to deal with in a business. Refused to acknowledge our existence, refused all courtesy, no greeting, no "thank you for being an IHG platinum guest", no courtesy at all. There was a crowd of 12 customers back from the counter ALL talking about her rudeness. what a complete change from the two gentlemen at the desk the next morning. Btw: they are well aware of her attitude and rudeness. How does she still have a job? She is running off your customers. We cut off our visit as soon as sunrise due to that horrible experience. Never going back.

  The girl at the front dest was very rude. The air-conditioning in our room didn't work and another couple were having the same problem with 2 of the rooms they were given. We got a second room and the air-conditioning and fridge didn't work. Very disappointing start to a vacation. We decided to stay and not try and get another room because by this time it is almost midnight. When we went to the desk the first time to let them know about the air-conditioning nobody was at the desk, so I yelled out hello and the desk person came out rolled her eyes walked past us and stood in front of her computer and not acknowledging us at all. Won't stay here ever again and it has almost turned me off the IHG all together.

  Was in DC for a Veterans Honour Flight from Wisconsin, stayed 2 nights, Sunday-Monday. The shuttle service to and from Regan National Airport was great, with drivers who had answers to my questions. The staff at check in were helpful, with a quick check in and good directions. The room was clean and roomy, OK some of wallpaper had seen better days, but I am here to sleep not worry about décor. It did take me a while to figure out that the AC/Heater is controlled from a wall control. Bonus Safety point the National Guard (was) is staying at the Hotel. Over night it was very quiet. The elevators are under restoration-updates, 2 out the 3 were operating and although a wait time for a elevator at times was awhile it did not detract from my stay. I would be happy to book here again. 10/28/25
