Can't believe I had never stayed here before. Amazing location right on the Metro rail, near shopping, and food. The staff were incredible with tending to my needs. Room was very comfortable as well.

The woman at the front desk failed to greet me upon check-in. The following morning, she displayed a rude demeanor when I inquired about breakfast. Unfortunately, she did not apologize for the miscommunication and demonstrated a lack of customer service etiquette. I was extremely disappointed and unhappy with my stay due to her attitude and behavior.

I didn’t stay here physically in a room, however Josh let me stay here to wait for my Lyft when I missed my train for the night. He was so sweet and he cared about my safety when I mentioned a guy was being weird to my by the Metro. Thank you for having a beautiful soul working here.

I hate to leave a non-five star review when the service was excellent. Everyone working the front desk was so hospitable, and the crew at their restaurant were great. The problem I had was that this hotel is aged and could use some love and care. The decor looks like it's from the 80's (other than the well decorated lobby). All the wall outlet were loose so it made it a pain in the butt to charge anything with the power bricks falling out. The worst thing of all was the blanket. Sheet, duvet, sheet. Fell apart so easily. The linens were incredibly cheap, and didn't breathe. being under it was like being inside of a tent.

Hilton with lounge in DC with subway access right at the basement. If you are gold and above you should stay here. Parking is $22/day. Use spot hero to park next block which is half of the price. Plus garage in the hotel is very very narrow. Engineering team should be fired for making this kind of entrance to the garage. I have parked my car in all major cities around the US like Chicago, NyC, Honolulu, LA but this garage was worst of all. No matter how slow and careful you drive in your rims will get scratches as they made this impossible to turn curve at the entrance with very high sidewalk/barrier. You have to take separate elevator for garage than ones to access hotel floors. You don’t get welcome snack or drink for being honors member but lounge has water, soda, some fruits and granola bars. Breakfast is $18 but free if you are gold and above. Breakfast had very large selection and open from 6:30am to 10:30am. You can also order discounted omelets at $6 for being Hhonors member. Rooms are small and carpet was sticky. Bathroom does not have lock. I don’t get this idea of not having lock on bathroom. Privacy in bathroom is important especially if you have very young children in your party. Refrigerator is very hard to locate as it is disguised behind cabinet door looks like drawers. Diamond members get access to lounge from 6:30am to 10pm. They did not upgrade me to larger room upon my request being a diamond member but i got automatic upgrade to executive floor which is same small basic room but at higher floor. Location is fantastic. There is ihop across the street. All major chains and good restaurants around this hotel. Not too far from city center. Staff is friendly. Restaurant serves good food. Overall if price is decent, this can be a great stay but for higher prices I would choose something else may be outside DC with more spacious rooms and free parking. Restaurant and parking codes as hilton so you can use your surpass credit card $50 credit here.
