Check in with was fine. Get in my room and there was no remote control for the TV. No garbage bags in the garbage can. Called downstairs and they told me to put the trash bag in myself because there wasn't anyone available to do it. I am not paying to line the trash can. The remote was brought to my room an hour after I called for it. This was s very unpleasant stay.

I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the fact that that the water pressure in the bathroom sink was so weak, that you could barely wash your hands or face, also due to the short faucet, angle and position. Also the pillows were not comfortable. Other than that, we enjoyed how spacious the room was, the convenience of the location, the memory my wife and I created, and the delicious breakfast.

During my visit to Washington DC with my parents I happen to stay for one night in this hotel. Location is good Caz memorial places are nearby. Front staff kadiesha greeted us well and gave us the room fast. But i am bit unhappy to get the room of handicap for the reason best known to them. Also I specially requested for adjusten room for me and my parents but we both were allocated rooms on different floors which was a concern for me. Rooms are clean so ok with the stay. Parking is little bit expensive $ 48..😅 which is hidden and not mentioned on booking site..

I stayed here three times (two weeks in June, one week in September, and two weeks in December). During all three stays, the same elevator was out of service. With only one elevator operating in a busy hotel, waits were long on weekends, especially around breakfast. On my first two visits I was told it would be fixed soon, but it was still broken on my most recent stay. Housekeeping requests also took more effort than expected. When I asked for service, I was questioned about timing (for example, being told service isn’t done two days in a row, and being asked whether it had been four days when requesting fresh sheets). The room also felt very dry during each visit and bothered my skin. I appreciated the 2 PM late checkout, but housekeeping knocked multiple times between noon and about 1 PM and followed up again as I was leaving and getting in the elevator. Overall it was manageable, but for the price I will try other options next time.

This was our 6th annual stay at this hotel. We appreciate the convenient location, easy walk to the metro and local restaurants. The rooms are good sized, bed and pillows comfortable. We also appreciated the free breakfast. Next year we will be looking for a different hotel. The problems started with the airport shuttle, we waited an hour for pickup, this after 4 phone calls and the shuttle driving past us without stopping! We were however able to get a ride to and from dinner which was nice, but the seats in the van are ripped. There is STILL only 1 elevator working and I see it has been that way for months. The shower head was stuck on pulse, no changing it. My sister had hot water in the shower, the next day I did not. Breakfast was very crowded and items running out were not replenished towards the end. I had to ask for yogurt but generally not very good food, chicken sausage anyone?? I had not been feeling well this trip so Sunday evening I went down to get a cup of tea. Looked at the coffee station, no tea bags. Asked at the front desk, she pointed to the coffee station, I told her no tea bags. She did not speak, SHE SHRUGGED HER SHOULDER. Great service. This Hampton has been great up until now, it's really too bad.
