My wife and I spent 4 nights here recently and we were very impressed with the hotel and the staff. The staff went out of their way to ensure that our stay went well. Alexis checked us in very efficiently and with a smile. Later in the day when we returned to the hotel she warmly greeted us by name. The battery in our room safe was low, and Helen at the front desk had someone fix it immediately. She also assisted in checking us out. Breakfast is included and it is a substantial meal. One of the serving staff, Mery, has worked there for 26 years and another, Lola for 5 years - both very friendly. Our suite was comfortable and clean and Olivia, one of the housekeepers, accommodated our schedule. We met Kevin, the general manager at the evening reception and at breakfast and he too inquired if we needed anything. I know I mentioned a lot of names but my wife and I were honestly impressed with the genuine good service (and value) so I wanted to give these folks a shout out. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Typical Embassy Suites stay. I was unfortunately unable to attend the evening receptions, but rooms and breakfast were great as always. Be aware the shuttle is shared with (and operated by) the DoubleTree up the road; when I requested a shuttle for a ride to the airport, it never showed up to pick me up, and then sent me a message that my ride was "complete" even though I was never transported - this was reported to the manager and they were able to promptly resolve the situation. Luckily, I planned for plenty of time before my flight, so there wasn't an issue in the long run.

Alexis at the front desk started my experience here with a warm smile and great info on the area. She went out of her way to make sure my visit was outstanding. The breakfasts were wonderful, and the breakfast staff was also welcoming and very attentive. Best customer service experience I have ever had in DC. I will definitely return here for my further business trips.

We have had a great experience for our week long stay. Everyone has been so warm and friendly. Front desk, housekeeping and the staff at breakfast. Mery was so sweet to me and my kids while we were enjoying breakfast. The location is great and we have enjoyed being able to walk to Good Company and Whole Foods. There are also some dining options in walking distance which is nice because we don’t have to worry about finding parking. Overall a great experience and I would come back with my family if we visited DC again.

Arrived to be sent to the wrong room, the second room had another guest inside. One of the most awkward thing that has happened to me. I'm counting myself lucky I didn't get punched by that guest or anything else. By the time I got to the third room I had to lock every door cause I didn't know if that would happen to me. I also brought all my important items with me during traveling time as well after that due to fear that someone could be given my room. The service at the bar/food service was not the best ordered a drink, got a flatbread pizza, after correcting got handed another food order. Finally got my drink but it was the wrong one, was sick of sending items back after that, so I took that one it was good non the less. Talked to other guests that witnessed roaches in their rooms, one guest was moved to another room next to me. location is good, it looked really nice, the rooms are decently sized . Breakfast was great as well - just didn't want to eat it after seeing pictures of roaches that other guests showed me in their rooms. The service is just terrible. I don't recommend staying here -edit- the heat in the room was non stop even after lowering it
