Great location for conferences and National, but it mostly ends there. The hotel is very dated and they have not done anything to improve that. The gym is quite small. Basic things like a laundry bag or pen/paper are not included in the rooms. It was clean. The customer service is really poor, from reservation to on-site. Moved to another hotel across the river and it was a night and day difference in service. I wish this hotel would at least pretend to value your business. But it was taken over by National Guard, so maybe they have a Gov contract and don't need additional guests.

Unfortunately I got a room right in front of the elevator so I got to hear everyone's conversation from my bed. So it ruined my experience.
Pro:
- good beds
- decent water pressure
- on site parking
- good ac in my room
Con:
- expensive parking ($22 per day)
- thin walls

I'm trying to make a reservation many months in advance, as part of a group rate, but ADA accessible rooms "aren't part of the block," so they're trying to charge me extra. Not only does this seem sketchy, it feels illegal and discriminatory. So if you need an accessible room (wheelchair user, deaf, or even just have mobility concerns), I wouldn't recommend going with this hotel. If you're booking for a group, I might try a different hotel, too.

Our hotel room had a motel feel- for starters, the “standard” room does not come with the amenities advertised. We only chose the standard rooms to have two beds; the king room advertised the same amenities but I seemed to have had the short end of the stick. We’re lucky to have even had toilet paper. Bathrobes are not available (we asked) and I had to go to the front desk for towels bc they did not pick up the phone at front desk/guest services/room service. The tv was old and the remote barely worked (neither did the built in streaming apps). The limited access to tv is not favorable, especially when traveling with kids. For a two night stay, parking cost $98, which was also not disclosed upon booking. Overall, I found this property extremely overpriced & underwhelming. Having stayed in many different properties in recent years, this was by far my most disappointing stay. The staff was professional when we got to speak to them but they were hard to reach and unapologetic when we couldn’t reach them. While its location is in close proximity to DC’s museums, you’re better off staying somewhere else (there are many options). It simply was not worth it!

Nightmare experience. Reserved block rooms for an event. Folks with confirmation numbers told they had no reservation and had to stay elsewhere, some pre-paid reservations were not honored and had to paid for again. The cherry on the sundae: I came back to my room and found all my belongings gone. Turns out there was a ‘miscommunication’ (that’s how they put it) and they thought I should’ve checked out after 1 night (despite multiple email confirmations that it was a 2-nite stay) All my belongings were removed from my room and ended up in a trash bag - not even a call to check to make sure.
Stay away from this place - this is the kind of stuff you’ll be dealing with. This place is too trashy, even for my mortal enemy or a diseased maggot.
