  The hotel was clean with spacious rooms. You could feel every spring in the sleeper sofa and the parking lot was tricky to ge tin and out of despite the traffic light.

  Location is good. Hotel needs work. The elevator only goes up, you have to call office to have it sent to you. Our room was average, but the bathroom sink faucet had very little water flow, and the toilet was difficult to flush. Of all the Holiday inn & Suites we've stayed in, their breakfast was the worst managed. Food was frequently out, and slow to replenish. Front desk service was hit or miss.

  I’ve never had issues with a Holiday Inn Express, but this hotel needs to close its doors and do repairs! Before I jump into that I want to acknowledge the employees. They were ALL very pleasant to deal with. Greeting you constantly when arriving or leaving the hotel smiling etc. We had zero issues with the employees! Room was clean but that’s as far as that went for the room. Also the breakfast was pretty good, consistent and good enough to say you ate a good breakfast. For the negatives it has nothing to do with the workers but everything for whomever owns this hotel. The Elevator wasn’t properly working, a few times we got on the elevator and it wouldn’t even move after pressing a button. Thought we were going to get stuck. The parking lot is tiny, unless maybe there’s more parking in the back. The pillows were horribly uncomfortable to sleep on, very flat with little cushion although they give the illusion of being fluffy. The tub water constantly ran. I’m not sure why they haven’t fixed it, because it is something I’m sure the cleaners know has been happening and has probably said something. It isn’t like drops of water, it’s literally a consistent trickle of water that you can hear even if you aren’t in the bathroom. The television remote barely worked. It took way too much effort to turn the tv on or change the channel because the remote wasn’t working. We had to go to a different floor for ice, because the ice machine on our level wasn’t working either. This is truly unacceptable when playing 200 a night for a hotel stay. Whoever is in charge needs to make it a priority to get this hotel up to par ASAP!

  Stayed here while visiting Washington DC. Pros: Not bad of a drive to and from Washington. Breakfast and staff were very friendly and attentive to our kids. Room was cleaned daily. Beds were comfortable to sleep and relax after a long day or walking. Cons: By the time we would return from our trip (9pm) and it was time for bath times, there was minimal to no hot water. The rooms felt muggy at bedtime even though the thermostats was at 68F. The elevators weren’t working properly the whole time and the last day while checking out the elevators stopped working for us on the 4th floor. The daily $10 for parking I think is unnecessary especially with limited parking in the front and the back side of the building parking lot looked sketchy. We had to park in the back a couple times and I wasn’t a fan. MAKE SURE YOU LOCK YOUR CAR!! Overall, it’s an ok hotel for a night or short trip, but after this experiment, if we return we would find another location.
