Some of the nicest folks work here! We had a great experience there. Just one note - if you are driving and arrive after dark, it's really hard to find the entrance. We drove in complicated circles trying to figure out how to get in. Also, unlike its sister hotel, wind is right on the edge of Old Town, calling this location party of Old Town is a reach. It's not near any metro or bus stop, but we were okay with that. Once we arrived, we parked out car in the hotel lot, which is much less expensive than the lot at the other location and walked or ubered.

My husband and I stayed here a couple months ago while in town for work. I wanted to give a shout out to Francesca. Although she was busy managing the breakfast buffet alone, she patiently and cheerfully assisted me with the waffle maker. I had never used one before and was completely lost. Francesca juggled restocking the buffet while helping other guests and helped me prepare the perfect waffle. Her kindness and service helped start my day on a positive note and made me feel like a valued guest!

Came to the area to run the MCM 50th year anniversary. This hotel was perfectly located, allowing easy access before and after the marathon. Easy check-in / check-out, clean rooms and comfortable bed. Nice helpful staff. Just over the bridge from the National Harbour!

Staff was unfriendly. They were having a computer problem and even though I was patiently waiting and said “no rush” I was treated as if I were rushing them. I chose an 8th floor room on the back that was listed as a quiet room, supposed to be a studio suite. I got a room in the front on the 3rd floor that was bright and loud with highway noise. No explanation of why I was downgraded. Also as a diamond member I was not acknowledged until he noticed my status while printing the key and said “ oh, I guess you want a gift?” I did not, I did ask for “a” bottle of water.

Property is fine, good location. Needs a facelift though. Easy checkin and out. Clean room. Good working elevators. Breakfast is crowded but good variety of items offered. My only major complaint is the ridiculous parking fee process. First of all, why am I expected to pay $10 a day for parking?? That said, OK I’ll pay it but why can’t you add it to my hotel bill? Why do I have to log into some third party website to buy a parking pass?!?! That really irked me and it knocked this hotel down two stars. Get rid of that stupid process. I would not stay here again.
