  The shower here is the best. They're clean, have good water pressure, they don't use shower curtains (it has a sliding glass shower door), there are places to put shower items and bars to hang wash clothes and towels. The staff is great! The breakfast is great, for hotel breakfast. The pool is nice, heading to the hot tub now. The bed is pretty comfy. Rooms can always be cleaner, but the house keeping staff here does a great job. Sunrise looks pretty cool too. 😁

  I am deeply disappointed that Marni, the front desk attendant, exhibited the most disrespectful and unprofessional behavior I have encountered. My husband and I will never return to this location for a stay. It is perplexing how someone can work in the hospitality industry and display such a lack of professionalism.

  Stayed two nights at Holiday Inn Express & Suites West Valley City with my wife and son during a staycation, and I’m pretty sure the pool area is either a family amenity or a low-budget waterpark designed by someone who just discovered caffeine. The slide wasn’t just a slide, it launched my kid into the water like he was being deployed into battle, and honestly I considered signing a waiver before going down myself. The pool had that perfect mix of chaos and chlorine where every splash felt slightly illegal but completely worth it. My son declared it “the best hotel ever,” which is high praise considering he once ranked a gas station nacho machine in his top five life experiences. Seriously no joke Slept great, laughed harder, and would absolutely come back just to risk my life on that unhinged aquatic missile again.

  Fine little cheap staycation- however- the pool area is heated, heavily chlorinated, and terribly ventilated. Everyone was coughing, eyes burning, asthma symptoms. Not just my family, everyone. It was better in the morning with less people, but the afternoon we could only tolerate being in there for an hour. Open a window lol. Breakfast was good though!
