Check in was great, didn't have reservation, but they were very nice. This was a nice location and hotel was fine, a little worn, but they did set it up very nice with a lot of amenities for sitting outside, fireplace, chairs. I was in a hurry, arrived late and had to head out early but had a nice area in general and saw kids and adults coming back from a pool (or they just like to dress in swimsuits around the hotel)! I liked that the fridge had a freezer so was able to refreeze my ice packs for next day travel. The room was average, worn and using a black light, I'll only post a couple of those pics, but walls and floors in main area were dirty around trash cans. The main walkways in the rooms were clean. Tub was questionable as to cleanliness. Took shower that night and couldn't get hot water any warmer than lukewarm , I love hot showers so glad I stayed only one night. The beds came out clean though which was the most important as hotels that don't have fresh paint or floors cleaned often, I'm sure there's more there than we care to find in any hotel that's older. They only had one plug by the bed, so had to plug in my watch across the room, but at least could plug in phone next to bed. I like more plugs, but every lamp only had one plug per lamp, no ports. Room was very big and quiet. There was an event going on in another building and hardly heard a sound and my room was right next to the other building. Breakfast at BW had the eggs, sausage, and my favorite of oatmeal that was not runny, waffles, toast, juice, tea, coffee, etc. Basic good breakfast and made an egg sandwich with bacon and got back on the road as I was in a hurry. This hotel was in great location off freeway, next to a gas station, so filled up and off I went. Even with the minor cleanliness drawbacks (as I stated, a lot of hotels have blacklight icks), I would still stay here again as amenities were very nice; and if this was a vacation, would have taken advantage of those offerings.
