Booked this hotel for my son and I. We got in late at 10pm and I lost my ID. I gave them my confirmation number and had my husband send me a picture of my passport from home and THEY STILL DENIED ME ACCESS! They would not let us stay even though we already paid and reserved the room. My little 6 year old son was so frightened. Terrible service to deny a little boy a place to sleep that was paid for and with confirmation. NEVER booking with you again. Manager was unhelpful and my husband even tried to call and explain how I lost my ID. Unbelievable.

It's January 1st. I have a reservation in April. I prepaid for one king bed room, about $450. More people got added to our group. Tried to get the reservation changed, more rooms added, different rooms also, double queens, adjoining rooms, suites with pullouts if they have them. Would've been a total price of around $2000 or more. They declined. They didn't want to "cancel" my current $450 reservation. Guess they didn't want more of my money. So, we'll get an airbnb.

Travelers beware. Currently staying two nights here. Our room did not have functional heating and the front desk was unable to get it working. Offered to downgrade our room and comp the days parking fee. Absolutely unacceptable. Two fitness centers on site. Out of 6 cardio equipment options only two in each of the fitness rooms actually had power and were working. Called the front desk. Was told "they should be working" like I'm not standing here looking at them telling you they are not. Obviously many things in this otherwise nice hotel are being overlooked with a lack of care or even checks. Spend your money somewhere else. There are many other hotel options in downtown Salt Lake City that seem to have their act together.

Chavonne at the the front desk was amazing. She was kind and super helpful. The cleaning staff was amazing. Everything stayed super clean. I saw the cleaning staff constantly mopping the lobby floor and wiping the elevator doors. I’ve never seen a cleaning staff work so hard. Our room was super clean. Location was super convenient to everything. Town was safe and walkable (except for it being so cold). Uber comes in handy for keeping you warm as you move about SLC in the winter. Breakfast was really good with a large variety of everything you could need. There’s also a restaurant on site if you don’t want to go out in the cold. The pool and hot tub were very warm. The sauna was closed.

We had changed our booking to add an extra day. The room was switched for the entire stay to accommodate that, when we went to the counter to follow their instructions of checking out of one booking and into our extra night booking they informed us it didn’t exist and we needed to completely check out and leave the room we were in and make a new same day walk in booking that we had already booked days before at the counter. It was extremely inconvenient and beyond us how our booking wasn’t there as we paid and booked at the counter just days before. I wouldn’t recommend booking through them directly as you pay 60% more than you would booking through a third party site. On top of all this, their parking is insanely expensive when most hotels have parking included.
