Incredible building that takes your breath away when you walk into the large auditorium! You can feel the Spirit of the Lord in this building and going to conference is a wonderful experience.

It was an uplifting experience. We enjoyed conference at the Center. We were very comfortable in our seats. We are amazed at the order in which things are conducted here. Definitely a peaceful place.

Deep sadness and disappointment regarding the treatment of a convert friend and his infant I am writing these lines with a profound sense of sadness and disappointment following our recent visit to the Conference Center. We attended with great excitement, accompanying a dear friend who recently joined the Church. He came with his one-year-old baby, hoping to experience the warmth and the spirit that this building represents. Unfortunately, our experience turned bitter when, after having entered, our friend was removed from the building. We found this situation deeply unfair, unpleasant, and in very poor taste. Instead of feeling the spirit of inclusion and love that is preached, we encountered a barrier that left a new member of our community feeling excluded and rejected during his first visit to such a significant place. It pains us to think about the message this sends to someone who is taking his first steps in the faith. As hosts, we feel embarrassed and, as members, deeply affected by the lack of sensitivity shown toward a family with a young child. We hope this comment serves as a reflection on reception protocols and that Christian charity and welcome are always prioritized, so that no one else has to go through such a discouraging moment.

It's an absolutely amazing place. There is a ton of art all throughout the building, except in the conference hall. The conference hall is huge, pictures don't do it justice. From the roof you can see the valley as it sprawls out away from the conference center. It will also be a great place to see the salt lake temple once it's finished being renovated. You can feel the spirit here, especially as we receive guidance from our prophet and apostles

It is always great to visit here and look around. It's very peaceful and Temple Square is right next store which is lovely. There are always people willing to help with directions and things. As a local, here is some advice for visiting: -The Conference Center parking is useful and decently cheap ($10 usually or free with validation of visit) but you can't always depend on it. It is often closed during big events because performers and/or church leaders park there. If you are coming to a large event and need ADA parking they usually use a surface lot across the street or the one at the Church History Museum and take people over in a cart or shuttle. - Be aware that the road right in front of the building and other roads around Temple Square are also often closed during big events because there are so many people walking around. - Most (if not all) of the events at the Conference Center and Temple Square are free - My best advice for you if you are coming to a large event is leave early (very early). Give yourself enough time for finding a parking spot and walking and you'll be just fine.
