It definitely needed better soundproofing. You could hear people talking in the hall, and being right next to the stairwell made it really noisy when people used the stairs. For $115 a night, I really wish it was quieter.

The room itself was fine, but the back door we were directed to use was propped open by a rock, which normally should only be accessed with a room key, given how late it was, this seems alarming. This hotel has all the common features that we now come to expect: loud heater/AC unit especially when it kicks on, loud mini fridge with the useless tiny freezer, and lack of sound proofing from the front door/hallway and window/outside. This time there’s a bonus: construction crew that shows up just before 8am. Other than that, the room was clean, has what we needed, and our dog was also allowed to stay. This location is a “good enough” spot to stay for the night when we are driving long distance home.
