This isn't your typical Hampton Inn, I felt like I was staying at a Comfort Inn, nice hotel just not what I expected.

Overall the place was OK at best. The town was what really saved it, great places to eat and some of the friendliest people. The hotel itself however was VERY subpar.
Walls are thin, you WILL hear people and especially when people's room doors slam shut. My door did not fully latch closed on it's own without my pushing/pulling it to be sure. The fixtures inside sick as the coat hooks were loose, however the room was clean. Also... SINGLE ply toilet paper...
Breakfast was a major let down, the sausage was bland as could be and the apple juice was just apple flavored water basically. The staff was very friendly, however if you want a good night's rest, go somewhere else. I paid 146 for a night which I feel is double what the quality was worth

The room was small and to much extra furniture made it feel even smaller. The room was very clean at check in. The bed was very comfortable.
Staff was very friendly, even if it was just passing ways in the hallway, with from the manager down to the maintenance and cleaning staff. Only weird thing that I had an issue with was the first night I left the do not disturb sign on the door. When I woke up at 6am there was a note under the door letting me know that the cleaning staff already passed my room for the day because of the sign. I had to make arrangements at the front desk for my room to be cleaned and it was still skipped that day.
I really wish hotels would do better with their breakfasts. Especially for the cost of a hotel room better quality food could be served. Inmates get fed better quality food than this. After the first morning of disappointment, I just went out and found breakfast elsewhere.

I was less than impressed with this Hampton Inn in Rifle. This property did not meet the Hilton quality I’ve come to expect. The room looked dirty overall. Wallpaper peeling, stains on the carpet and lampshades, a burnt-out lightbulb, and cracked/moldy caulking in the tub. The wall-mounted lotion and shampoo pumps were pulled out, and there was a noticeable gap under the door. While the room itself was quiet and I appreciate that the gym is being renovated, the overall condition was disappointing. Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay here again.
