We are really enjoying our stay at Voco. The service is great. We have paid for breakfast a couple times at the vault and it’s always delicious with wonderful service from Anu. I would deduct a half star because 1. Small smears on the wall next to the toilet and 2. Not the greatest shampoo/ conditioner in room and the hairdryer is ear splitting on high 3. The AC is a bit loud. High marks as a base camp though as the rooms are massive with lots of room for gear. I even tried the hot tub today and it was lovely. Fridge in room was nice as was the coffee & tea maker and it was no big deal to use the communal microwave (though the sign says you can ask for a microwave to be brought to your room). It is just minutes south of town though so if you want to be able to just walk out the hotel and to shops, you can’t do that from here.

Stayed at Voco Moab for 3 nights and all the front staff was friendly but Anu was the best! She was super attentive upon check in and at breakfast every morning. I had to knock one star for the housekeeping. Our second day we left towels to be replaced on the floor and they were left as is. The bed was made but left the duvet on the floor. Upon arrival first day, our room had about 1/4 roll of toilet paper, no back stock in the room (understandable in a hiking town). We asked for more at the front desk, no big deal but it was never restocked after. I'm prone to nose bleeds in the dry air, our second night housekeeping had not replaced the empty tissue box and we tried calling the front desk with no answer for multiple tries. Other than that, location was great plenty of parking and friendly.

I am a business traveler and Voco Moab was easily one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Management does not care a bit about feedback or the guest experience. Its sad that a relatively newer hotel like this in a wonderful destination like Moab is owned by folks that apparently only care about making short term money rather than addressing a legitimate dropping of the ball. I stayed here for 3 nights last week from 4/14 to 4/17 for a business conference. Check in was fine. When I left the room at 9:15am the next morning I was shocked to find that upon my return to the room at 10:15 PM that the bed had not been made up and the room had not been serviced. There was still trash in the bins. After a long hard day I was rightly disappointed. This is not a cheap hotel at over $200 per night. I called the front desk to complain and they offered me a few new pillowcases. I called IHG at their 800 number to complain. The next day I met at the front desk with the hotel manager - who proceeded to giggle/laugh nervously when I asked him to make things right after they did not make up my room. He did not take my concerns seriously. IHG by phone more or less listened - apologized - and offered nothing to make things right. Why is it so hard to provide good service? Why is it so hard to say "I'm sorry, we dropped the ball - what can we do to make things right?" For a newer hotel there were other issues with the room including a the toilet paper holder that was wobbling and unscrewed, a very odd TV remote whereby it was impossible to change stations, and a dirty sink and toilet that had visible hairs that I could see the first night I checked in. Yuck. Is your staff trained to actually clean these rooms for $200 a night? I will avoid this hotel and IHG properties going forward. I am a club member and they treated me like dirt. As a consumer I have lots of options in terms of accommodations.
