First things first, the Slackline NAILED IT! On an impromptu trip to Moab, this was our second choice, and we ended up going with it because the other hotel sold out. I am glad we did. I'd love to shake the hand of whoever at Hilton designed this hotel. Every detail, every choice, was made with intention. From the rock-climbing-cot addition to our room (we didn't need it but enjoyed it as decor anyway!) to the ample space for our 4 bikes, we could have stayed another week and felt right at home. The lobby and common areas also were ideal for us: There was a co-working-like space with plenty of tables for working (we had to work remotely for a few hours every day), games and knot-tying exercises, free drip coffee from La Colombe and a little cafe that had an excellent breakfast quesadilla with salsa and guac (and it also wasn't greasy). We visited in December, so we didn't use the outdoor patio, but others were using it - even taking a dip in the jacuzzi. They also had a nice fire pit. As someone who has traveled all over the world digital nomading, I appreciated the excellent vibe, the minimalist, yet intentional and useful design and the helpful staff. If you have ever been to a Selina, this was pretty similar, but all private rooms - after all, it's a U.S. hotel. The price was also pretty great for two people. My only point of feedback is that the ping-pong table is in the co-working area, which is disruptive and distracting - I suggest moving it elsewhere. They might also want to upgrade their lunch items - someone who works there (!) told us they were pretty abysmal for the price. Other than that A+! We would happily stay there again!
The hotel is remodeled and looks great inside the room. However, the hotel does NOT has any elevator. We were stuck on the 2bd floor and forced to carry hundreds of pounds of luggage upstairs. I have never been to a Hilton property that doesn't have an elevator. Hilton has gone downhill and next time, we will not try a new Hilton property brand!

This was run by Field Station when we stayed, not Hilton. But the rooms were very cool - loved the outdoor adventure modern youthful feel. It had tons of storage, was stylish, the shower was great and sink had tons of space. The beds were so comfy. The building seems like an old roadside motel that got updates, which is fine, but the hallways and common spaces aren’t super nice. Except for the lobby - this space was very stylish, loved the furniture and shop up front full of outdoor gear. Main thing I remember? The lobby coffee was actually REALLY good. Outdoor fire pits were really cute and nice amenity, we didn’t use though. Too tired after days of hiking.
Clean & newly remodeled but has a corny theme
Theme is climbing & adventure - clearly the owners sat down with some marketing folks and thought “let’s put a climbing hardboard, a rope instead of a toilet paper holder, climbing anchors and paper hangers in this hotel - that will surely attract out target demographic.
IF you happen to like the theme, note that it is clearly a manufactured corporate decision and not like some local climbers decided to open a hotel. Did they rename it from Field Station to Slackline because of the GGBY festival being in town? We will never know
Regardless, it’s a fine hotel ; clean & has a fridge (overlanding style horizontal refrigerator though)in the rooms. Microwave in the hall
