A great spot for a stay in the Moab area. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and breakfast was great. Stayed 3 nights for a trail race weekend and this spot is perfect for all the activities in the Moab area. We also really enjoyed the pool area. We would stay here again.

Our stay here was great! They're have the best coffee of any hotel I've ever stayed at. I'm not talking about the mini keurig in there room. It's the 24 hr access to their fresh groung coffee with every cup in the common area. The staff was all amazingly friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were fantastic. Our room was clean. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that one of the mattresses in our room was older and lumpier than the other and made for a bit so greater night sleep. Had to trade the kids beds since they don't quite know the difference yet.

Edit to add what Liz is saying below are complete outright lies!!! She never once asked for an email regarding price because SHE is the one who gave us the original quote. She very much did tell us directly that she didn't want us staying another because our original plan was to book 2 nights but ended up going elsewhere since we were unwelcome. Literally the worst hotel manager in the planet!
Holiday Inn of Moab is not worth the price or headache. While most of the staff was kind and tried their best, I can't say the same about the manager, Liz. We called ahead to see if the hot tub was working and actually hot. Liz herself assured us it was. We specifically chose this lovely to have use of a hot tub after hiking. She also quoted a specific after tax price over the phone. Once we arrived, we quickly discovered the hot tub was indeed not hot at all nor were the jets working which was a disappointment. The employee at the desk said it was giving a code for maintenance. We had also asked for a late checkout so we could return after hiking to shower and relax. We got back to our room well before the 11am actual checkout to discover our room completely torn apart. When we asked to talk to someone, we were told Liz would have to call us. That's when we were told we were lying about the hot tub because no one else complained to her. We also discovered we were charged significantly more than we were told. Liz told us that we were mistaken on the original price and it must have been before tax even though we very clear about final costs over the phone. When we asked for a possible discount for a future visit to make up for everything that had gone wrong, Liz flat out said she didn't want us coming back to the hotel saying she did not want to deal with us complaining again. She at first suggested a refund, then quickly rescinded that and said she would give a discount which came out to more than the original quoted price. I've never in my life encountered a hotel manager this rude or uncaring toward a guest. This was truly a terrible experience and we were made to feel awful and insulted even though none of what we experienced was our fault. Do not stay at this hotel and save yourself the hassle being belittled.
