Chanel Night

I am a Diamond member with Best Western. My family loves Best Westerns. We usually stay over 2 nights everytime. During the end of our stays we clean the rooms ourselves & take the majority of our trash out. In Duchesne I bought my own cleaning supplies at a local store (Family Dollar). I cleaned the whole room like I always do & took out the majority of trash. I wiped every surface in the room, door knobs, drawer handles, microwave, refrigerator, sinks, bath tub, toilet, EVERYTHING with disinfecting wipes & fabuloso & paper towels. I honestly thought my stay was very good & I also thought the staff was friendly (a front maybe??), I even gave a 5 star review & recommended the place on their feedback page (I wish I hadn't!!). I also wrote a thank you note and wished whoever read it a Merry Christmas (I wish I hadn't done that either). Anyway I checked out & started my long journey back to MT. Along the way I received a few emails that completely blindsided me, the emails stated I left a "messy room" & was charged 2 cleaning fees, 1 for $150 for a cleaning fee & another for $75 for "extra time" cleaning the room so $225 in cleaning fees!! The emails stated there was a pillow with dark stains "all over the pillow", NOT TRUE!! There was ONE dark stain, it was at least an inch tall & half inch wide. Email also stated there was "blood" & "urine" on the linens & the linens "can't be saved", NOT TRUE!! The so called blood was chocolate, the "urine" was a fountain pop I accidentally tipped over. I didn't think anything of these things because they could have been washed like any other sheets & pillows cases!! The room WAS NOT messy because I had thoroughly cleaned it, I even picked up crumbs with my hands to help take the load off the cleaning people. There wasn't "extra time" needed to clean the room at all. This teaches me to record when I leave the rooms to prove we DO NOT leave messy rooms. I shouldn't have to do this but I will because $225 is ridiculous!! I am so disappointed at Best Western in Duchesne. I don't appreciate being lied about & I really don't appreciate them stealing money from my account. After I read those emails I froze my card incase they came up with another BS fee!! Of all the many years we have stayed at Best Western hotels this is the very first time anything like this has ever happened!! I am truly disgusted by Best Western Duchesne!! I read other reviews & this isn't the first time they charged BS fees. Beware people, if you stay here you need to leave your rooms completely spotless & crumb free or be charged $225 cleaning fees!! I was advised to take this to corporate & I am. I want my money back!!
We were in room 205, a kitchenette, watch out for little black ants. They seem to come from left side of the bathroom door.
Its a very nice hotel. But above all, I will like to say that the girls at the front desk were exceptionally great. Very professionals and attentive.
The breakfast was pretty decent, as well as the lady that works there.
Overall, I really recommend this hotel. I will definitely stay there soon.
My two kids and I stayed last night while visiting from NY and we're so excited to have another night ahead of us! The front desk staff have been incredible; kind, courteous, and helpful! The room was so much more than expected with a kitchenette that includes a 2 burner stovetop, a microwave, a coffee maker, and a full-size refrigerator/freezer! The room was impeccable, the bathroom spotless, and all the bedding and towels smell nice and fresh. This hotel is conveniently located behind a gas station and a Burger King. But the real gem is Mike who makes an AMAZING breakfast spread! He sparked up a brief conversation with every person that walked in, made sure all the food was stocked well, and that everyone left with a full and happy belly. You can tell the staff here is dedicated, well-trained, and takes pride in their work. Well done!

This place is always clean, the AC is always works! And the breakfast isn’t too bad either.
This hotel has some of the friendliest staff of any hotel I've ever stayed, and genuinely friendly, not the fake "because it's my job so I have to be nice" kind of friendly. Even the breakfast staff was above and beyond what it needed to be but greatly appreciated. Nice sized clean rooms that have a full blown kitchen, not just a coffee pot and microwave, which it also has, but a 2 burner stove an almost full size fridge, not the little mini fridges most hotels have. Also all the pots pans dishes and utensils provided as well. A decent sized pool and a great hot tub too, open late till 11pm. Laundry room, gym, small convenience store at the front desk. The beds were perfect, it's been a while since I got that good of a nights rest. This property is well maintained and clean. Breakfast was really good with lots of options, protein like bacon and eggs, biscuits and gravy another day along with yogurt with mix ins, 4 different cereals, make your own waffles with syrups, powdered sugar, cinnamon and even whipped cream. Coffee and juices. Bagels, toast, fruits. This hotel with the included breakfast, pool, nice rooms and great staff is a good value. Also convenient location, right behind a convenience store and Burger King, next to a Betos Mexican restaurant(check your order before leaving, they always get it wrong!) and almost across the street from another convenience store with a Subway in it. Will definitely stay there again when visiting family again! Thanks!
