This brand new hotel was lovely and the staff was so friendly. The breakfast crew was still learning the needs for weekends, and the hot tub/pool area wasn't open yet, but all in all a great stay. It was super clean and the location was great. It was about an hour drive to 2 National Parks and Bryan Head ski resort. The parking lot was very easy to get into and out of which is not always the case with "downtown" hotels. If I ever find myself in Cedar City again I will stay there again.

Everyone this past weekend was so accommodating at the new Hilton Hampton in Cedar city Utah. The whole staff was amazing. They put up with our big family. We come from A family of 10 we are born and raised in Las Vegas Nevada and we were out here at the park place for my brother’s wedding now all the cousins got to get together and grandparents, aunts uncles, etc. there was 85 of us. We had several rooms at the new Hilton Olive at the front desk was so accommodating like she put on a happy smile no matter what the situation we will definitely be staying at the Hilton again thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. Stayed here for a work trip and it is a beautiful and clean hotel. The pool isn’t open yet. As they just opened the beginning of February, they have some kinks to work out with the front desk but other than that it was a pleasant stay. The breakfast buffet was a good spread and the parking lot is nice.

We reserved a two-night stay (February 19–21) through Expedia and confirmed this at check-in. When we returned to the hotel at 2:00 p.m. on February 20 after attending our daughter’s state basketball game, our keys no longer worked. At the front desk, we were told we should have checked out by noon. I explained that we had booked two nights and showed our reservation confirmation. We were shocked to learn that staff had entered our room, removed all of our belongings, and hastily repacked them into our suitcases without any attempt to contact us. This felt like a serious violation of privacy and was especially upsetting given that it stemmed from an internal mistake. Once staff reviewed the reservation, they apologized and returned us to the same room, and gave us back our luggage they put in the back room. Later that evening, I realized my Stanley water bottle was missing. This item is sentimental to me, as it was a teacher gift to me. I reported it to the front desk and was told housekeeping would be contacted and that I would receive a follow-up call. I never did. The next morning, I went through all of my stuff again to make sure nothing else was missing, I discovered additional missing items: my portable charger with built-in cables and my Apple Watch charger. I requested to speak with the manager, but she was unavailable. My contact information was taken twice with assurance of a return call, which I have still not received. This experience was disappointing and concerning, both in terms of privacy and the lack of follow-through.

This hotel is clearly understaffed and operationally unprepared. I arrived with my pregnant wife and our 6-year-old daughter, and despite being quoted a 10-minute delay, our room check-in was pushed over 30 minutes. We waited in the lobby with all of our luggage while a Gold member was accommodated immediately with snacks while they waited, an obvious service gap that speaks volumes about prioritization and execution. To make matters worse, the pool that is actively advertised online is closed. The only alternative offered was driving to a nearby Marriott to use their pool..no compensation, no service recovery, no acknowledgment of the inconvenience. For a hotel of this size to have only one luggage cart is frankly absurd. I had to make multiple trips just to get our belongings back to our vehicle. When I raised these concerns, the General Manager, Megan, explained that they are “new and working out the kinks.” That may be an internal reality, but it is not a guest-facing excuse, especially under the Hilton Honors brand promise. While the stay wasn’t unacceptable, it was absolutely inexcusable for a hotel operating at this scale and brand level. This entire stay was an inconvenience from start to finish. I will not be returning, and I strongly caution others to manage expectations, or look elsewhere.
