I wish I read the reviews before staying. I did not realize that this hotel was going undergoing renovations. This is the worst place I have ever stayed. And I’ve stayed at a lot of different hotels. The key pad on the side door doesn’t work probably because it didn’t even close all the way. So anyone could walk in. Thats scary. When we walk to the elevator it was really horrible looking. Paint peeled and chipped everywhere, the walls look horrible - I believe it was wallpaper or something like that- it was peeling. The smell was gross. Even for renovations this was beyond horrible. My room was not renovated. We were in the 2nd floor. Everything in our room was old, broken, peeling, missing stuff. Couch was peeling, bathroom title was cracked and broken. The dresser wouldn’t close. Fridge wasn’t closed all the way so it was warm when we got in and I couldn’t put my left overs in there. I can go on and on. I felt very uncomfortable in my room, I could hear everything from the next room, I’m assuming they had a couple people in their room because they didn’t stop being so loud. I had the worst sleep staying here. I was just so tired from driving 10 hours that I booked online & when I got there, I just stayed. I just slept there and in the morning I got up and left- couldn’t wait to leave. So disappointed that I didn’t read the reviews. What they should do during this time is offer a discount rate because of how poor the conditions are. This is just really disappointing. They should know better!! This is definitely bad business.

This hotel is sketchy outside at night. Inside, everything is very dated and in need of some updating. It smells musty and old. The staff was odd and judgmental in how they looked at and talked to my mother and me, with the exception of the very friendly night clerk. It was an odd experience at best. We will not be staying there again.

The hotel was great the only reason for the 4 Stars is they are renovating the first floor. the paint smell was a little strong but other than that great place, the rooms are clean and quiet

I get this is Utah, but providing in-room single-cup coffee makers is standard in a hotel, especially a Hilton-brand Hampton Inn. On top of that, the back door that leads directly to the elevator does not lock and is not monitored. Very unsafe, especially to a woman. If ice makers are not provided on each floor, the hotel should indicate on the map attached to the door where to find one. I ended up at the front desk after searching my floor (#3) and the main floor, only to be told that “due to renovations” the only ice maker was on the second floor. I’m very disappointed and will not be returning.
