I highly recommend Best Western Plus Ruby’s Inn to anyone visiting Bryce Canyon.
This is honestly the best value hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and it truly made my trip special.
The breakfast is generous and unlimited, much better than many other hotels. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff are warm, friendly, and helpful. The hotel store has everything you might need, which is super convenient.
Most importantly, the hotel is very professionally managed. I want to give a huge thank you to the Lost & Found team. I accidentally left my ring in the room, and the staff personally went to check it for me. They found it and mailed it back to me.
They literally saved my vacation.
This is actually the first review I’ve ever written, but I really had to say thank you.
If I could give 100 points, I would give 100.
We spent 2 nights in different rooms this New Year. Room one was on first floor, cold and uncomfortable, needed AC heater on all night, very run down. For next night we got second floor room in another building, it was warmer and nicer, and we could turn off the heater. The main lodge was beautifully decorated and full of fun: huge gift shop, indoor heated pool, art gallery, buffet and restaurant. The history of the original inn is fascinating!

Not the greatest experience but I guess as always it depends on your expectations. Bryce area in general offers less options than Zion or Moab for instance and you want to be close to the NP but the standard is pretty low. The rooms were clean but the standard is from the 90s at best, very dark rooms, old mattresses and bathrooms. During Christmas you basically had to have breakfast and dinner there as many other options were closed. À la carte was good but the buffet (only option during Xmas) is just awful and gives you prison vibes. The waiters work hard and were very friendly. If you want to be close to the park for a night it is totally fine but expect mass tourism quality.

If you stay here, you better hope you win the lotto and get placed in the main lodge, unfortunately for me we were put in one of the dingy side motels that apparently is also owned by Rubys Inn. Quite the walk from the actual lodge itself, (including the pool and jacuzzi) as well as the restaurant. Bed it’s full of springs you can feel through the mattress (and hear), unlike the rooms inside the main lodge. Pictures to not match what you are faced with in the side motels they can put you in with no warning! We also booked a kind room and had 2 queens instead (not the end of the world but definitely annoying). I phoned the staff from my room to request the room I had booked and paid for, as well as to be moved to the main lodge considering the 180 of the room difference (we had family in the main lodge, which is how we knew how disturbing the difference was) and was met with a firm no, and there was no record we booked a king (even though the booking on my phone showed it), and there was nothing they could do to help us. (We checked in early so I was aware there would be other clean rooms available in the main lodge yet, they wouldn’t budge) the cleanliness and smell were a top concern, but the back pain awaiting us if we slept on that sad excuse for a bed was enough to cancel our room entirely. Sleeping in our rental car would’ve been a better option! Be up front with customers about being placed in a separate building, and take clear picture of those rooms, not just the main lodge ones! Sad I didn’t take photos to share, but honestly spent less than 5 minutes in that room total because of the state of it.
