It was a simple overnight stay. The facility and rooms were very clean. Gas stations are nearby and a Walmart for incidentals.

Very disappointing experience. Staff handled a simple situation terribly and escalated it in a way that was unnecessary and upsetting. Left feeling disrespected and uncomfortable. Would not stay here again.

Our company has been staying here for MONTHS. And I got a friend of mine hired on and had to stay at this hotel. The lady at the front desk with long dark hair and glasses has been treating him poorly. He’s a black man, yes. But how are you gonna give everyone else low monthly rates and not him. How are you gonna put him in a room that is “down” because it has no bathroom door and the room is ran down. He deserves to be treated equally. One thing we’ve noticed about Brigham is they are not really welcoming towards anyone of a darker skin tone. The crazy thing is, I went down there and made his reservation after returning from rotation home and they made his reservation for the month and I told them he should be getting the same monthly price I am. (Different lady helping me). She got it all in the system and all he had to do was sign his papers when he got in from work. But instead she (long dark hair with glasses) looked at him and told him he couldn’t get what was told he was getting. This hotel needs NON RACIST people working the front desk!

We reserved the suite as it was our anniversary. First of all, the room wasn’t ready at check-in so we had to wait for at least 30 minutes for them to hurry and clean it (which of course didn’t make us feel comfortable about the cleanliness). They did apologize for that. The room above us was loud all night long. Then in the morning when we turned on the heat and fan there was a very strong odor of weed. I went outside, but nobody was there. The smell was so strong that we checked out early. I was getting a headache. I told the front desk about all this but nothing was done. Not even an apology, just a shrug of the shoulder and trying to explain that the weed was from outside. She even admitted she could smell it. Do they even want return customers here at all? Well, I can say I will not return, nor anybody I tell this story too.

Considering how kind some of the staff here were I was not going to leave a review, since there is sincere effort despite this hotels flaws which are likely due to management's lack of training in the hospitality industry. I had to switch rooms late night due to several maintenance issues and I asked for late checkout since we would be sleeping late due to inconveniences. Several staff made me feel unwelcome. With some training in hospitality this hotel could be great. Beware to travelers, in multiple rooms the window blinds don't close all the way or are shredded so you won't have privacy as people can see right into your room. The breakfast spread is appreciated but be aware any hot food tastes of old reused cooking oil. Stick with cold packaged items. Fridge in room did not work. Old coffee had been left in machine in room. The laundry machines are intermittently broken, you need to unplug and plug back in manually to work. The pool/hot tub was a nice feature and had decent temperatures. I wouldn't stay here again and would not recommend unless Management works hard to improve and take pride in their business. Location seems like a convenient spot. Overall felt like a safe area.
