  Absolutely recommend staying here! Skip the regular chain hotels, this place has amazing service, smoking & non smoking rooms (absolutely no smoke smell in the non-smoking), continental breakfast with excellent coffee, and the best beds I've slept on at any hotel. Prices are comparable with a Super 8, but the stay is 1000 times better than you would get there. Across the street is a great bar (all smoking), and a fabulous food truck with huge portions. Don't let the outside appearance of the hotel or bar fool you. Inside of both are great. We stopped here at the tail end of a long road trip after deciding to make our last day a short drive. I guarantee we will plan our next trip along I 80 around staying here.

  Don't judge a book by its cover! We stayed at the Sands Inn last night. From the outside the motel and area are a little rough, however the room was exceptionally clean, the bed was very comfortable and we rested well. The owner and front desk clerk both went out of their way to be sure we had the room we wanted (I had accidentally marked smoking) and everything we needed. We left early so didn't get to check out breakfast, but I bet it was great. This was the perfect layover spot while passing through Rock Springs. And you can't beat the price!

  Cada ves que nos hospedamos en algún motel, hotel estamos a la expectativa de si va a estar bien el lugar. Y más porque el precio es muy económico comparado a otros hoteles. Este lugar nos gustó no solo por el precio sino que estaba muy limpio con refrigerador y microondas. Se lo recomiendo

  Had a really nice overnight stay with our dog. The owner was up to greet us with a continental breakfast and conversation! He also owns the bar and food truck across the street where we had dinner the night we pulled into town The brisket tacos were delicious!

  Retro vibe motel with parking in front of your room, right off I 80 exit, next to a gas station with a full liquor store, located across the street from a bar and food truck with a great variety of amazing Chinese cuisine and American cuisine!! Down the street within walking distance is another bar and a coffee hut!! The rooms have been newly renovated, great AC & plenty of hot water, fridge and microwaves. Very friendly customer service! And a great price for traveling on a budget!!
