  Upon arrival, we were told that the power was out (and they weren't sure when it would be fixed) and that we wouldn't be charged if we wanted to stay elsewhere. We appreciated this and did find accommodation elsewhere. We will try again next time through.

  Would have given 5 stars, but this Holiday Inn Express was $100 more than any we have been to. It was more per night because oil workers a filling all the hotels, so all the hotels went up because the oil companies are paying and they can gouge customers. You either pay or drive to the next town, unless you were exhausted like we were and needed to stop.

  A perfectly pleasant place to spend an overnight on a family road trip. Holiday Inn Express hotels are one of the most consistent in the corporate chain motels and as a weary traveler I appreciate that. The room and common areas of the hotel were clean and welcoming. The room had ample space for 3 adults and 1 teenager. I like when there are seating options other than the bed. Our room had a desk chair and an additional chair at the table. I also appreciate that there are full size toiletries in the bathroom to use. We didn't have breakfast at this location but it looked similar to the breakfast bar we had at other IHG stays on this trip, and those had plenty of options. The pool and hot tub were nice to relax after a long day of driving. Front desk clerks were helpful with dining options in the area as well.
