In the 1960s, Founder Glenn Napierskie saw many visitors to Jackson Hole sleeping in their cars. He built The Virginian Lodge as a place for these families to stay, have fun, and build memories. Today, the same holds true. We want the travelers, drifters, locals, and adventure seekers who pull into our lodge to feel well taken care of and welcome to enjoy all that the area has to offer. At The Virginian, we create opportunities for people to come together and make unique and lasting memories. We help keep the spirit of the West alive, keep people dreaming, and keep people coming back.

- CACarole Archer2 days ago5.0What a great place to stay in Jackson, WY. Think old motel with modern PENDLETON rooms. I’m particular about my hotel stays and this one exceeded my expectations. It’s not a 4 star hotel for a fancy city, but it’s 4 star for Jackson. The norm for the area seems to be motel drive up rooms. The staff here is amazing. We had a pet and our room was ready with a ‘Pendleton’ dog bed, tennis ball and water bowl. A great stay for sure!
- CDChristina DLP2 days ago4.0We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Standard rooms are spacious and the bed is really soft and comfortable! The walk in shower is great. Large courtyard with fire pits and games. Plenty of parking. Pet relief area is in the far back corner of the hotel. Our only complaints is the price with extra daily fees (resort and pet fees) and the customer service was a little rough sometimes. But overall, I recommend this location for a quite and cozy stay.
- TETed Egge4 days ago2.0OVER PRICED, OUTDATED, MOTEL... Only thing more disappointing was the check-in clerk! In my travels which are many... Sometimes early check-in can be accommodated, sometimes not. Understandable. But when the clerk says check-in is 4pm and we see people checking in prior while we are waiting in the parking lot.. (after a second attempt to check-in at 3pm) Well, let's just say that's unacceptable. Any reputable lodging facility would ask for your number and text you when a room is available. Especially one claiming to be a 4+ ⭐ charging over $300.00 a night.
