  Might be the worst stay I have ever had. I booked a 2 week stay and got house keeping the first 2 nights and none after that. I had to ask for towels every evening in order to shower in which I would receive pool towels on some nights, trash was never taken out, and to top it off I go down for breakfast at 6:50 and there’s nothing there and the lights were off. $2700 and can’t even get a bath towel… I have 5 more weeks in a hotel and will be taking my business elsewhere. Avoid this location if you can

  We arrived on July 30 as my husband is working in the area. The room was filthy when we arrived at 8pm. We travel often and carry cleaning supplies so I cleaned the nightstand, desk, refrigerator area and bathroom. The floor was covered in dirt and hair. I did the best I could to clean it with sanitizer wipes. The microwave had food spilled inside of it. The carpet is stained and stinks. One of the beds had stains on it so we slept on the cleaner one. The shower curtain had black mold on it, as well as there is black mold in the AC unit. After requesting a full cleaning and new shower curtain the following day, only trash was removed and the microwave cleaned. I again requested a full cleaning and new shower curtain. Three staff arrived and I had to specifically ask them to vacuum and clean the floor. The floors have not been cleaned since this one time. The toilet grows yeast/mold which I have been bleaching myself. As for the general areas, the breakfast area is full of fruit flies/drain flies. This needs to be addressed by pest control as it is unsanitary. The laundry area on 3rd floor is so filthy that I don’t think it has actually been cleaned in years. I mentioned this to the head housekeeper and she said they are supposed to clean it while working on the floor. They might have swept it because the scent beads were gone but it is still completely filthy. I wiped the washer out with sanitizer wipes before I used it. Positives for this hotel: Nice gym equipment but tiny small room. The afternoon cookies are very nice. The woman named Angel that works the front desk in the evenings is wonderful. Overall: Avoid if possible.

  if you are thinking of reserving a nice room to relax and getaway, do not waste ur time booking this trap house. The rooms smells of bounce that ah and are not clean whatsoever. My sheets have stains that i don’t even want to bother asking what century they are from. There is GUM stuck to the walls by the bed and hair left on the pillowcases. Do not recommend booking. save the time and the money

  We stayed here four days and could not get them to clean the room or leave towels. Had to walk to the Front Desk to get toilet paper ourselves and had to walk to the Front Desk to get towels. When we called about them they said we could come and get towels but they only had one. They lied every day and said they just had not got to our room yet. We were home for a family reunion and came back to the room several different times during the day & we would report it. Never cleaned. No towels. Then we came back for the evening and they had still not cleaned it and now we were ready to be in for the night. Do not recommend this hotel. There are other better hotels nearby.

  Highly recommend this property! My wife, our kids, and I travel all over the country regularly for work and leisure and we’ve stayed at countless IGH properties over the years. This one is special. First, it’s in an absolutely beautiful part of West Virginia, with lots of greenery to enjoy in every direction you look while also being walking distance to tons of restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is a bit smaller and a bit older but it’s very clean and neat with spacious rooms all adding to a charming and enjoyable experience. But as always with this brand, it is the staff who compels me to leave a 5 star review. From the moment we checked in, I knew we were in great hands with Angel. She was so incredibly friendly, courteous and accommodating during our stay - a total joy to chat with. We would like to stay at this hotel again in the future simply because of her. Thank you so much for a great stay!
