  Wonderful hotel and experience. The rooms are very nicely laid out, have the perfect amenities and conveniences, and the staff are wonderful. Thoughtful details from the cookies and snacks at the front counter, to laundry on each floor. Will stay here again.

  I was there for work. They were very accommodating and very nice people. The rooms were clean. It's convenient to where I was working. Definitely will stay there again!!!

  Great hotel for a road trip. Rooms were laid out nicely, with a place for two suitcases to be off the floor. Our king bed room had a 42" TV, a desk, closet and ironing board. Walk in shower, no tub, and a nice sink and vanity. Small microwave but a good sized mini-fridge. There is no coffee maker in the room but the lobby has a machine. The location was great, tucked away from the road so it's quiet, and we didn't hear much from other rooms either. The desk people and the breakfast attendant were nice. Breakfast had pancakes, cinnamon rolls, hot biscuits and gravy, as well as cereal, yogurt, and fruit. I would stay here again.

  First off., the cleaning staff are excellent. Also the person running the breakfast area is wonderful. However, the front desk staff are severely lacking customer service skills. They are rude on the phone and not helpful. Expect to have to escalate any request to a manger who is also spotty in availability. The staff lie about what they can do and when. Anything like changing a credit card on file or basic administration requires a mangers “approval”. So that either means, A. They don’t trust their staff or B. The manager is controlling and not empowering their direct reports to do any meaningful work. Avoid if at all possible. They most likely won’t change until new management is brought in or competition opens up in Ripley. There is a good business opportunity here. All you have to do is open a competitor hotel chain and be somewhat decent and you will take all the business!

  This review is for the lovely Melissa! from the second I walked in off an 8 hr one-way trip from NY, took me in and did not let my fear of being caught off guard alone show. Melissa took the time and patience to welcome me. ( YES, I talk way different) Melissa, did not let the time clock run out. Melissa knew I was going through something and safety was her main concern!!! Move into my second morning waking up and enjoying the atmosphere with my husband (works 10hr days.. so the view and surroundings mean a lot). Melissa was there to share “ good morning”! & can I just say… any time our paths crossed she was proud and loud to make me feel seen!!!
