My biggest issue was one of the valet parking attendants not showering or using deodarant . We paid 20$ for parking and when we got our car it smelled so awful for a while that we self parked when we got back . I did mention it to the desk the next morning which was awkward , but received well . Perhaps he should be doing a job that's not handling peoples cars or near anyone . It was very offensive . Not exaggerating

From the beautifully restored lobby to the classic architecture and elegant décor, the hotel captures the character and history of Morgantown while still providing a comfortable, relaxing stay. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out. Its location is hard to beat, with easy access to downtown and West Virginia University, making it a great home base for exploring the city. My only critique is the parking situation. There isn't an on-site parking lot or designated self-parking area. That said, the $20 overnight valet service is absolutely the best option compared to paying at nearby public lots. Just remember to bring a little cash to tip your valet...they're fast, professional and worth it. Overall, Hotel Morgan is a fantastic place to stay if you're looking for history, charm, and excellent service. We'd gladly stay here again on our next visit to Morgantown.
