    We had an unanticipated 2 night stay at this hotel recently due to a vehicle mechanical issue. I've stayed at several highly rated hotels in the past and feel that we received "5-star" treatment by all of the the staff at this hotel with whom we interacted - actually better than staff at 5-star places, imo, due to the level of care towards my kids and I that they demonstrated. Their staff went above and beyond for us in several instances. Some examples: - Staff checking in with us repeatedly to make sure that we had everything that we need. - The manager giving us change out of his own pocket to use the laundry and refusing reimbursement. - The staff helping me with logistics for towing a trailer back to my home state 800 miles away - (providing printing services, office supplies). I have 20yrs experience in customer service and know excellent service when I see it. This group was exceptional. Also, I highly recommend the WV Polo Club for bbq - some of the best I've had.

    Nice location right off the exit. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again. First room AC was struggling and the front desk helped me into another room. Pool was open but hot tub was down.

    Room has mildew smell. The air conditioner doesn't work very good. Had a 3 night stay asked for towels on 2nd night said they would do their best they were busy while they were smoking a cigarette outside. Will stay at Hampton inn next time.

    Just stayed for 2 nights. Room was.clean. A/C struggled to keep room cool during day but at night freezing. TV don't work. Staff said owner switched off direct rv to some 3rd party subscriber and they cant get the tvs to get channels. Was told owner has been aware for a few months and nothing fixed. Indoor pool was ice cold. Not sure how you're supposed to swim in n ice bucket. Shocked Holiday Inn would allow this.

    Staff was very helpful and friendly. Upon arrival the hot tub was out of order, zero towels in the pool area. The cable was not working and They said it was due to the weather but it was not storming. Breakfast was subpar and had very little to choose from. If you in the area I would look somewhere else. Staff was great though.
