  4 stars for the room because none of the charging ports work. As a family traveling with 2 teenage boys, i was relying on not needing six blocks to charge everything. ((Selling charging blocks at the front desk would be VERY helpful!)) Also, having no curtains feels a little "flop house," but the blinds were enough to keep the light out. Also, google maps verbal instructions are incorrect when using gps to get here. Five stars for water pressure!! 🙌

  Google maps took us right to the location. Service representative was very pleasant and helpful. She checked us in and gave us directions to our room. The room is super spacious with very nice bathroom necessities. I'm very thankful, I had forgotten to pack ours. There's a variety of restaurants to choose from. Location is rght off the interstate. There's apparently a race track across from the hotel. We may investigate later tonight 🫢😆.

  The staff was friendly, however, that’s the only positive thing about this review. The bed was terrible! Worst mattress that I’ve ever slept on. It should be removed. Pillows were lumpy, not supportive and smelled like a boys locker room. Heat in room didn’t work, told staff, it was never fixed during my stay. Bathroom sink was slow to drain. I smelled someone smoking pot every night! Breakfast options were limited, most options were missing in action and items available were not appealing, but the coffee was good! Semi trucks racing down highway all night long, hotel is way to close to freeway. The floor in the room felt damp and room smelled musty. Owners should be ashamed of themselves in the condition of this Holiday Inn. Thumbs down.

  Absolutely wonderful service the people here are so nice and friendly and there's an older lady who works the breakfast station and she was amazing 🤩 the pool is super clean and our room was spotless. I was so happy to be here definitely beats the other places I stayed at here in Parkersburg. Also loved the fact they have all the menus to order from for delivery for food. Thank you guys so much!!!

  Letting these photos speak for themselves here for the quality of the hotel and room for those who just need a visual and don’t want to read the full review. Had a reservation for a 4 night stay but quickly requested to cancel and had to scramble to find a new hotel last minute upon seeing the condition of the hotel. Immediately noticed the mold on the hallway wall and wanted to take a closer look inside the room. Noticed the wallpaper was not attached to the wall so wanted to check behind it and it was covered in mold. The bathtub was also stained but I didn’t get a photo of that. The only decent part I can comment on is that the front desk staff was friendly and did not question the request to cancel the room.
