If you go back maybe a year ago you can see quite a few people said what they like about this hotel was "the view of the water" Well they plunked an apartment complex or something between the lake and the hotel. The beds were comfortable and clean. The room was clean. Breakfast was ok. You can walk across the street and do the hiking/bike trail on the lake which was kind of cool. The neighborhood itself was a bit yuk. We walked to the Asian restuarant by the hotel and the food was kind of yuk. Try the new Pho place or Perkins instead. Some staff were very friendly.

Stayed there for my fathers funeral. week after Grandmas marathon. We booked 8 rooms as a block but would not give us a deal on rooms because of grandmas marathon... Paid $659 for 2 nights! Next day the rates dropped to regular price. Showed up at 5pm and none of rooms were ready.. The person working front desk said they didn't show up that day. finally got us into our rooms and 1 of our rooms did not have shower curtain. The other room smelled so bad it was a rough weekend. We did not complain about our smell as the staff was nice and not totally their fault and we doubted they had any extra rooms available. For sure will not return to this place!

Bri, whose full name is Briann, was incredibly friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. I absolutely loved the first level King hotel room. The space was beautiful, everything was squeaky clean and the bed was very comfortable. The woman helping with breakfast was so kind and welcoming. I forgot to ask her name, but she kept everything well stocked and the food was delicious. I especially appreciated the almond milk and the Oikos yogurt options.
The cleaning staff were lovely, helpful and attentive. They were also very friendly.
I enjoyed the live music at the Fourth Festival at Bayfront in Duluth, but it was pretty cold outside, so we went back to the Holiday Inn to warm up with a soak in the spacious hot tub. After a short walk across the street, I was pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful and stunning firework display at the park near Bakers Island. It was the perfect way to celebrate the holiday weekend.
Thank you for everything. 🌟✨️

Duluth is our go to getaway spot but the hotel options have been lacking since COVID. Being only 10 min away from downtown Duluth as long as there is room we will always choose this hotel going forward. My son and I needed a room last minute and from the minute I stepped in the front door until we left the whole experience was great! I'm so bummed I did get the front desk lady's name, (long brown hair and glasses) she has some of the best customer service I've ever experienced! The rooms were so nice and clean. They provided full size bottles of hygiene products. The pool was open until 11 which is greatly appreciated and fully functional. Let's talk about the breakfast, delicious. It's so appreciated that the meal is hearty. Lots of options, cold and hot food, fully stocked, not one thing was low or empty. Overall
