I have been loyal to the IHG brand for some time now. I have zero complaints about the condition of the hotel. Staff was very accommodating and polite. Room staff does an amazing job at keeping things tidy. Availability and location was great. My only complaint is that you are in the business of selling sleep all the other items revolve around that.. I know I am not the only one that expects to be able to manage the temperature in the room. The thermostat is controlled by sensors in the door so you can set the ac to 65 and it will kick on for 5 minutes which does absolutely nothing when the room is kept at 70. The unit would cool for 5 minutes literally and then the fan would run for another 10 minutes. After that you would have to open the door and would immediately hear the ac kick on again for only 3-5 minutes never had it run longer than that. I was able to switch rooms thinking maybe the first room was just quirky equipment but the second room acted the same way. I understand energy conservation vs consumption as I am in that industry but the way you have the air conditioning restricted when occupied is absolutely ridiculous. When I would wake up hot as I did many times I would simply but frustratingly open the door and the unit would kick on again for five minutes or less. I have a very large crew that will be working in the area for the next two months and after experiencing what I have I will not be bringing my business to this hotel. It is not brand wide so I will continue to go to IHG but will not stay at one that restricts the use of the ac so severely. Again you are in the business of selling sleep.

We stayed here Aug 6 with my mobility impaired mother. When booking I was offered a higher tier room, a suite, for an extra $25. I specially booked this hotel because I was offered this option. Upon arrival, the clerk made no mention that she was giving me a standard room. I asked and was told the suites were over sold. She offered no price adjustment, I had to ask. The price adjustment I was given was less than the up charge, only $20. I feel duped and believe this hotel is engaging in fraud. We have stayed here before. It is overpriced for what they offer. Would love to be able to enjoy the hot tub. However is it so toxically over-treated with chlorine that the toxic gases in the air make it impossible to enjoy. Furthermore, I submitted my dissatisfaction to the hotel when asked about my stay and all the manager offered was some lame condolence and nothing to offset the inconvenience she caused me nor the extra cost for NOTHING in return.

I planned on getting away with my service dog who is truly a service dog as I'm a trainer I was the first trainer in the United States JF service dog training.org and I showed all of this to Best Western and they would not let me and they refuse service that was in Rice lake I'm so happy I got to go to igh. There was a very kind kind man as all the rooms are taken and he said look you take my place you and your dog look tired he looks like a good dog give her my room and I thought that was so nice so whoever you're out there if you're reading this review thank you.
It was a wonderful stay. I should proof of course of my dog and training and doctors that are and they were very good about it all this was my second state and I was very pleased I highly recommended the rooms were very clean the beds were great and I met a few nice people which is what I wanted to do.

I had difficulty at another place because I have a service dog. I really needed to get away as tall dogs. Made arrangements but then they said that I could say but I couldn't be around the lobby when people were checking in and they prefer to side room because of people being allergic to dogs. It was the first service dog trainer in the United States for disabilities I cannot be seen. This is not a valid reason to reject somebody.
I did not know my way around and was tired and stressed and was helping my heart I went to IGA I got there and there was not a room available my heart sank I was tired.
There was a band next to me who is I believe checking in or just checked in and he said let her have my room she can have my room she needs it she's tired she's got a good dog there.. I looked at him and I said are you sure I mean it's your room it's okay. The agent asked him are you sure and he said I most certainly am sure.
Thank goodness for the kindness of strangers I wish I would have gotten his name and sent my thank you note what a compassionate man.
There wasn't any problems at all staying at igh with my service dog. The guest did not seem to mind there were two of them that I had talked to for quite some time and got a lot of good laughs and they took pictures of my dog and myself I mean it's fun right for me and the employees are all very kind it was very clean I would recommend highly if you're looking for a clean place with good beds. If I go back again I think I got to stay in the room at the couch because his beds are high I'm laughing they were soft and good and firm all in one.
The environment seemed good they did not mention the problem of dog hair or people being allergic which goes against the ADA rules. It's nice because of professional. The rooms again I have to say we're very clean I appreciate that and the staff it has a good milue.
