Me , my mother , and grandmother stayed at the hotel for Mother’s Day weekend. We had brunch in the cafe. The Service was amazing Terrel was very friendly and provided wonderful service. My grandmother and mom loved the food, hotel, and the amazing service. Highly recommend. The complementary champagne and in-room dining was really nice to have.
We were in town for a sales conference and the company put us up at this hotel. My group was very impressed with almost every aspect of the hotel. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We were greeted with a glass of champagne at check-in which was unexpected but appreciated after a 6 hour drive. The lobby is really pretty and the seating in the bar area by the fireplace was relaxing. The meeting rooms were spacious and the temperature was set to be comfortable (not too hot and not too cold). The rooftop bar was lively at night and the view was great at night. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. My air conditioner was not working but the staff sent someone to my room right away and he was able to figure out the issue and get it fixed. It took about 45 minutes but I appreciate his persistence and determination to get it taken care of right then instead of coming back later. I can assure you my review would have been different if it wasn’t for that gentleman. Most of us were on the 2nd floor above the lobby. I caution others to not stay on this floor. It’s somewhat loud at night until the bar area closes and the worst part is you can hear the grandfather clock ring every 15 minutes. The only other issue we had was the gates to enter and exit the parking garage we’re not working. That was somewhat annoying especially on the last day when we were leaving and had to wait about 20 minutes to exit the garage. All in all a really nice hotel that I would stay at again, just not on the second floor.
A couple of weeks ago my husband and I went to spend some time with our daughter, who was staying at the Pfister for her birthday. We settled into the bar/lounge. I had been craving a grasshopper for quite awhile and used this opportunity to get one. Terrell approached to see how things were. I told him the drink was good but not what I expected. It was not made by him. But he took charge of the situation. He was so very apologetic that I had not received exactly what I had been wanting and went out of his was to make me the most amazing grasshopper I have had. He treated me like a VIP and I felt so special. He also had the most enjoyable personality. The Pfister has a winner with this young man. I can't wait to spend time there again. Thank you Terrel for making our experience one to shout about.
I rarely leave a one-star review, but our stay at The Pfister Hotel was extremely disappointing and did not match the premium price.
From the beginning, we did not feel welcomed. Check-in took close to 30 minutes, and the front desk staff did not come across as friendly or helpful. For a hotel at this level, the first impression was very disappointing.
We booked a Premium Double Room because it was described as a high-floor room. Instead, we were assigned what felt like a regular double room on the 3rd floor, in a corner location. The staff insisted it was a suite and presented it as an upgrade, but the room did not feel like a suite to us. There was no separate living area, and it did not match the high-floor experience we booked.
When we asked about moving to the room type we originally booked, we were told there were no rooms available and that we could not be moved the next day either. However, when I checked online, the Premium Double Room appeared to be available for the following night, which made the explanation feel misleading.
The room also had poor sound insulation. We could hear loud music from a nearby club/building at night, along with street noise and cars driving by, which made it hard to sleep.
Overall, we paid for a premium experience but felt the hotel failed to deliver. The building may be beautiful and historic, but based on our stay, the service, room assignment, and noise level were not acceptable.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone. It was so horrible that I am leaving my first negative review ever.
There was a dance competition taking place on-site for two nights that lasted until 12:30 a.m., and this was not disclosed ahead of time. The noise was so loud that it was impossible to sleep the first night.
After complaining, I was told I would be moved to another room. Unfortunately, the process was chaotic and poorly handled. The bellhop arrived more than 30 minutes later than the time I was given. When I was finally taken to a new room, I was given a key to a room that was already occupied, which was both embarrassing and unacceptable.
From there, I was taken to yet another room, only to find the neighboring guest had their door open with loud music blasting into the hallway. The front desk said it was okay because they would be out by 3 pm that day. After complaining further, I was then brought back down to the front desk to try again.
At that point, I was assisted by a front desk employee named Vladimir (or something similar), who stood out for all the wrong reasons. He was the one wearing a pink sports coat and was incredibly rude and dismissive throughout the interaction, showing no concern for the situation or the inconvenience I had experienced.
Eventually, I was moved to a room that was acceptable, but by then the damage had already been done. The lack of communication, disorganization, and consistently poor customer service made this an exhausting and frustrating stay.
I cannot recommend against this hotel strongly enough.
