  We stayed at this hotel before when visiting our daughter who lives in the area. The facility itself is nice. Our room was clean, the staff however was outstanding. Front desk, we met with Danielle initially who was kind, helpful, and always welcoming. The breakfast I thought was very good, there was a good select selection of food. The pool and the hot tub were clean. True the facility is not new, however, still a very nice place to stay for the price. We will definitely be back and hope to see Danielle and Tonya. Thank you IHG.

  The rooms were clean and very comfortable atmosphere when you walk in the doors. The check in ladies were kind and helpful. One was training and her training partner was patient with her. I loved to see it. In the morning Danielle got us all checked out and sorted for breakfast. She was probably one of the sweetest people ive encountered in a while.

  Slightly outdated building but the staff does a great job with the upkeep. I travel solo a lot for work so I mainly expect clean, comfortable rooms with staff that are friendly and welcoming. I don’t like being away from home but this place felt good. I reserved a river view room and I’m very glad I did, I saw beautiful sunrises and wildlife around the river. I took a walk down the nearby trail one evening. Every staff member I came in contact with acknowledged me and was very friendly. I chatted with the young lady at check in late Monday evening and she recommended a great place for a quick bite to eat, Kopp’s custard, I ate there twice, it was excellent. I checked out a day early and Danielle at the front desk made it a breeze. I’ll stay here again on my next visit to the area.

  My husband and I stayed at this property recently while in town for MSoE Parents' Day. The most impressive part of our stay was the breakfast buffet - warm chocolate croissants, lots of condiments neatly arranged, a variety of meats, and hot biscuits with butter. Our room was neat, comfortable, and reasonably priced. Will go back. The only thing I could criticize is that our body wash dispenser was empty, and we had 1 stained towel, but that's an easy fix. People are human. I liked it here.

  Affordable stay. Parking was easy, with convenient access right off the highway. We stayed here for Marquette Parents’ Weekend, and the location was great. Close to campus and very convenient. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The AC worked almost too well, though. We had trouble finding a comfortable setting: 70° made the room feel muggy, while 68° or 69° made it freezing. When it reached the set temperature, the unit would blow hot air for a few seconds, which was odd. It was also leaking condensation, leaving the floor soaked next to the bed. A picture had fallen off the bathroom wall and was leaning against it when we arrived. I reported it so the staff wouldn’t think we caused it, but it should have been addressed before our arrival for safety reasons. We were surprised that breakfast was an additional $17 per person. While we didn’t mind paying extra, that felt steep for what was offered. The dining area also needed attention. Tables weren’t being cleared or wiped down, and an employee sitting behind the desk issuing the guest plates and silverware was eating his own plate of food, which didn’t feel particularly sanitary. The tip jar is tacky. Overall, the location was fine, the room was clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff were nice. The AC maintenance and breakfast/dining area could definitely use improvement.
