I do NOT recommend staying here on a Saturday night. Weekdays may be better but definitely not on a weekend. Kids running the halls and banging the walls, screaming all the way past midnight. Then back at it again at 7am. Of course my room looked over the pool which was again, kids screaming and banging doors until 9pm, then again at 9am. Good luck getting any decent sleep, thankfully I didn’t have to catch an early flight. The hotel page says newly renovated, which I guess that meant just the lobby and may be some of the furniture. The beds had to be original to the day this hotel first opened! The beds were hands down the worst Holiday Inn beds I have ever encountered in the last 12 years! I usually like to stay at Holiday Inn’s but I guess I should’ve trusted the reviews and overall score of 3.9 stars. This hotel is great if you have kids and want to make lots of noise. This hotel is NOT great if you want a decent nights sleep.

I didn't interact with the staff however, check in my husband said was easy. Our room was exactly what we reserved and clean. The hotel had a nice pool which was great for younger kids. The location in the town was perfect for the reason we came to visit. Breakfast had many options for the many different tastes our family has, except hot items could have been slightly hotter. The only reason the hotel didn't get 5 stars from us in all honesty was the comfort level of the bed. Personally for us it was just too firm. That is however just our opinion. I would however like to give a shout out to whoever is on their housekeeping staff. Vacations don't always go smoothly and our outing for the day was tiring and busy and having a special needs child can make trips exhausting when you are away from home. We came into our room today, even though we made our beds and hung our towels for reuse, fresh linen was replaced throughout and housekeeping even took the time to nicely display our own personal throw blankets at the foot of each bed. This may seem like such a small detail for some, but the tiny little pieces of extra effort were definitely noticed and very appreciated. I would absolutely stay here again.
