False accusation and worst expirence I had one of the most upsetting experiences I’ve ever had at this hotel. I have stayed here before, and a particular front desk staff member has consistently been rude to me. During this stay, when I checked in, I politely requested a clean room. She responded in a rude tone with an angry expression, saying, “You get what you booked.” I simply repeated my request for a clean room, nothing more. Later that night, I returned and requested a late checkout. She again refused in a very rude manner with the same attitude. When I pointed out that she was being rude, she began targeting me personally, saying she had seen me in the past in a negative way. At that point, a security guard intervened, but instead of de-escalating the situation, he supported her behavior and began arguing with me as well. Both of them effectively ganged up on me. I told them I would report this to management in the morning since it was around 1 AM. Immediately after that, she told me to pack my bags and leave the hotel. I complied and left. Afterward, she fabricated a story claiming I was drunk and behaving rudely, which is completely false. I also have a recording of her stating that I would receive a refund within 10 business days. Despite this, I am now being told that the hotel is refusing to refund my money. This situation is unacceptable. I was treated disrespectfully, wrongfully removed, and then falsely accused. I request a full refund and that this matter be properly investigated.

I stayed here during an event I was going to. Staff at front desk were nice. I gave a 4 for service due to coffee shop not opened until later and asked 3 times during my stay on first morning of my stay. I also ordered from the restaurant called the Mango Leaf. It’s part of the hotel. I ordered jalapeño poppers and nachos. The poppers were good. The nachos were not good at all. I’m not Gordon Ramsey but cheese on the side, cold grilled chicken with lightly sprinkled add on tomatoes, onions is not nachos. I didn’t ask for cheese on the side. I felt like I was an after thought and the food was rushed. I came back after 23 min when I was told 15 and it wasn’t at the desk at the restaurant so I asked. The gentleman went back for a few minutes and came out with my bag and said they had no salsa. I don’t think salsa would’ve saved this anyway so it didn’t matter. I didn’t open this until I got back to my room and no words could express my shock. I paid 26 overall with tip for that. I could not eat the nachos really and tossed it. I did tell the lady at the front desk the nachos weren’t good. I hope they take that off the menu. Please don’t serve nachos. The room where the bed was made looked clean upon inspection. I still brought my own pillow for comfort. I brought my own sanitizing wipes and wiped tables, bathroom sink, toilet, floor and tub down. I saw a stain on the wall in the bathroom, light flickers, crack on floor tiling by shower which I have pictures of. Stain on shower curtain which is in one of my pictures. I saw a couple ants every day in the bathroom. 2-3 so it wasn’t huge but noted. I appreciate the hair blow dryer was in a bag hanging on the door to be used if needed during the stay in the room. I saw a railing on right side of shower but I recommend a handheld shower head, more grab bars for people that may need it. Also a walk in shower would be a great upgrade. A hand held shower head would be easier to turn the head of shower away as the shower head is stationary and sprayed water everywhere. The shower curtain is weak/ poor quality. Some water easily got on the floor which I wiped up every time. I asked for new towels and sent used towels to be washed during my stay. My key card every day at some point stopped working and had to go to the front desk. At times it was busy at the desk so that is an inconvenience. The pool was closed which I didn’t plan to use so no big deal. I used the fitness center but only for standing, didn’t seem mats were clean enough. I still got a good work out and appreciate the two 50 pound dumbbells for deadlift, farmer carry etc….Also the clock on the wall needed a new battery. It was the same time every day to my amusement no matter what time I came. The sanitizing station it looked like used wipes weren’t emptied daily and I recommend it. The rowing machine needs to be upgraded. I was excited at first as the rowing machine can work 80% of your muscles. Yeah all I’ll say is an upgrade rowing machine would be the answer. I checked out early as maintenance crew was working loudly and music in room next door. It was getting to be 9:30 pm on the last night of my stay. Also the smell of whatever they were doing was coming into my room. They had the door open. I didn’t have mine open. I didn’t feel safe to be at the room and breathe that in, didn’t want to switch to a different room that late. So I felt uncomfortable with my situation. I also didn’t think I could sleep but it would be unwise to with that smell coming in my room. The problem is there is a door between the room I’m in and the next room. It was locked, secure but the smell of chemical/ paint was coming in my room and music too. It was getting later. I checked out around the time mentioned and drove to a family members house 2 hours away. I was also charged more than my original booking so I hope that it’s a deposit that is returned. I hope I get a partial refund for especially the last night of my stay. I had wanted to stay in that room one more night and didn’t plan for the uncomfortable situation I was in.

This place has gone downhill over the years. We stayed here several times in the past for our flights, but this will be our last stay. Front desk was ok. The restaurant was horrible. It used to be good, but they changed hands. The service was slow, food was subpar, overpriced and not good. I didn’t even get the room I booked. I booked a king standard room, and ended up with a room with a sofa bed which was not an upgrade. Upon entering the room, the air conditioning was blasting in May in Wisconsin. The room was like 62. We turned on the heat with the thermostat that was falling off the wall. The air would not turn off despite the thermostat set to heat and 82. Notified the front desk. A guy came up and he was so rude. Flipped a switch and basically did nothing. He didn’t care. AC still blasting, he did nothing. Called front desk, no answer. Gave up and we just unplugged the whole unit. This place is a dump.

Worst customer service I’ve experienced in years. Had a nasty and incredibly unprofessional experience with a lady here on the phone who was super rude and tried to gaslight me. the website and site we booked on stated there’s a 24/7 airport shuttle. So when my family and I were waiting at the airport at midnight after our flight landed for a good 10-15 minutes in below freezing temperatures, I called the front desk to ask when the shuttle might be arriving. The lady on the phone answered that it stopped running at 10pm that night. Confused, I asked why, because everywhere online it states it’s 24/7 (hence why I booked this specific hotel) She yelled at me over the phone and said “no it doesn’t, I run the website thingy and it doesn’t say that”. After that, she more or less told me to get bent and offered no assistance. As someone who travels all the time for work, I know these websites aren’t managed by local staff. I double checked in that moment (and took the attached screenshots) it stated the shuttle was available on-demand. I don’t want to hate on the rest of this hotel because aside from this one rotten apple, the experience was very pleasant. But yelling at customers and gaslighting them is absolutely unacceptable and absurd.

We chose to park at the Crowne Plaza because of its convenient airport location and reasonable price ($8.80/day including tax). I booked through a third party, and the drop-off experience for our early 6:00 AM flight went smoothly. However, the return experience was extremely frustrating. Our flight landed at 9:35 PM, and the instructions in the confirmation email were to call the hotel for shuttle pickup upon arrival. We called seven times between 9:40 and 9:59 PM. Each time, the call appeared to be answered and then immediately placed on hold—without ever reaching a person. The email clearly stated that shuttle service was available until 11:00 PM, but we were unable to get through to anyone. After nearly 20 minutes of trying, we had no choice but to call an Uber, which added an unexpected $20 to our cost. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend this parking service. Reliable shuttle pickup is essential, and unfortunately, that part completely failed.
