  Budget hotel at a boutique price. Our stay was noisy: a party in the room below, heavy foot traffic overhead, and constant road noise from the nearby highway. Things did quiet down late at night, though. The hot tub wasn't hot, but the pool room is a pleasant space. The room needs a number of minor updates, and the overall quality felt low, from the towels and sheets to the furniture fabric. Middleton is a nice area to walk around, but the hotel isn't close to the university or downtown. Maybe fine for a single weekend night, but I wouldn't book it again at this price.

  09/06/26 Important note for truck drivers: I would not recommend trying to park your truck in the hotel parking lot itself. However, if you can find enough open space along the road nearby, I had no issues parking there overnight. Great property with a lot of potential. There isn’t much within walking distance, and the closest bar/restaurant I found was an Irish pub that was around a $40 Uber or Lyft ride. The hotel was under renovation during my stay, but thankfully it wasn’t noisy like I expected. The rooms were nicely renovated, the beds were comfortable, and the ladies at the front desk were very friendly. They advertise free washers and dryers, which is a nice perk, but one washer and one dryer were down. On top of that, someone had apparently left some kind of metal or lead weight in one of the dryers, leaving tiny metal shavings inside. I understand that offering free laundry is meant to help guests, but sometimes the true cost of “free” is the inconvenience. I would recommend doing your laundry before you arrive if possible, especially if you don’t want to wait for a machine or deal with clothes being left in the washer or dryer. The AC could also use better maintenance. Not long after entering the room, my nose became stuffy, so I would suggest keeping a closer eye on the air filters. The shower water pressure was also disappointing. I’d rate it about 2 out of 5. The showerhead looked nice, but I’d rather have something simple with strong water pressure that actually makes you feel clean. Overall, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a property with good potential, but the laundry situation, AC maintenance, and weak shower pressure could definitely be improved.

  Do not stay here. The entire hotel is under construction. Pool is closed, huge dumpster in the parking lot, limited parking, equipment in the hallways, construction workers having a cookout dinner on the patio. Did not feel safe!
