  No microwave in rooms. Rugs in hallways that will trip anyone! No phone in room. 1 elevator for all guests. 5 floors. Hotel should be budget inn. Not Holiday INN. Trust me I've been in every hotel in every state this year! Here is your dimond elite. Shame on you !

  If you enjoy a damp hotel experience, where everything is broken and barely functional, I would happily recommend this hotel. It’s not overly humid outdoors today, but in this hotel room it’s very sticky and humid. This is clearly an older hotel that is needing a renovation badly. In 2002, it would’ve been perfectly fine, if not fantastic. One way to offset the charm of an older outdated facility is to offer exemplary service. Unfortunately, it took the heavy gentleman (shining vibes) in the pink polo shirt 15 minutes to realize he had 6 guests waiting to check in, And another 10 minutes to get a single guest (me) Checked in. Had it not been for the bartender tapping him on the shoulder, reminding him he has to do his job, I’m pretty sure we would’ve stood there for another half an hour or longer. This hotel did not seem busy by any means, And I was disappointed that my request for a room with a single king bed could not be fulfilled. While I can only speculate, It’s likely the rooms equipped with such arrangements were not available to the public due to environmental concerns. Ultimately, I was placed in a wheelchair-accessible room. I have a great deal of experience working with the disabled community as a wheelchair provider and consultant. The poorly placed grab bars and sketchy bath stool are charming but a roll-in shower area should be a requirement before any company boldly claims accessibility. it should also be noted that the disheveled, trip-hazard carpeting Completely negates any accessibility claimed while en route to this 4th floor room. I would consider it a serious hazard for even an able-bodied person. To summarize, 80% of my lodging experience was negative. The hot tub was out of order, The point of salesystems seem to be out of order everywhere. The staff that welcomed me at check-in by conveying their frustration over their own dysfunction were clearly out of order. Mr. pink shirt had no interest in showing any remorse or apologizing for his inattentiveness to the multiple couples waiting for him to check in. And the entire place smells like moldy basement. The one shining star of the entire team/crew in the building was the hotel bartender and kitchen staff. The food was surprisingly good, And the drinks were made as though they knew you had to disassociate to tolerate this building. My kudos to the crew in the restaurant bar area. You really salvaged, and otherwise awful experience.

  I traveled from out of town and booked a room that did not accommodate my liking. I went to talk to management which is Brian and Andrew, they were very rude and unprofessional about helping me with a solution. I spent 3 hours on the property trying to receive my money back because I did not stay at the location. I was told that the system was down and I couldn’t receive my invoice. I contacted corporate who then called the property manager and corporate witnessed the manager on duty being rude and he hung up on the lady from corporate. I have recordings of the whole conversation from the time I called the manager and spoke with corporate. I have never experienced such behavior from a company whose goal is to please its guests. Being an Honors member should mean something. If I could leave no stars I would, very disappointed!!!

  Please don't spend your money at this hotel. We checked in for one night, and we immediately wished we had not.The thread bare bedskirt had multiple holes in it, and the shower head looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a month. The worst, though, was musty smell. It was so overpowering, I tested AC to make sure it was working. The front grate where the air exits the unit was covered in black mold. We called the front desk and asked if we could leave without being charged. They said no, but they would give us a different room. This room was better, but still not up to what one would expect from a Holiday Inn. Oh, and the AC didn't work in this room. What a nightmare. As I said, please don't spend your money here.

  Upon arrival, it took at least 15-20 minutes to even get someone at the service desk to help check-in. The frustrating part was that you could hear employees in the back talking but no one even bothered to see if customers were there for a solid 15-20 mins. Was then told the hotel was very busy and it would be a wait to check in (it was an hour after check in time) No worries it happens. Had a drink at bar & gave ample time from what I was told to come back at. Another 15-20 mins of absolutely no service at the front desk. Room felt dusty and sheets were somewhat stained. The bottom of the beds had some sort of white stuff on them? Carpet was very obviously not vacuumed or very poorly done. Kid you not, bathtub had a small blood stain by the drain (not rust). I was just not comfortable there, unfortunately. I really do love staying at a nice hotel, but this one needs some work in many ways, especially, if it is recommended by business events nearby. Bartender was very nice. Also, not sure why website says complimentary breakfast if you have to pay for it separately? Defeats the point of complimentary.
