  I genuinely have no idea how this hotel has a 4.4 rating on TripAdvisor. This property is desperately overdue for a renovation. The moment we walked into our first room, we were hit with a strong smell of mildew. We then discovered that the carpet underneath the A/C unit was soaking wet because the unit was actively leaking. Nothing says “great hotel experience” quite like walking into a room that smells like mildew. We went to the front desk to report it, and the employee’s response was honestly almost as disappointing as the room itself. They seemed completely unfazed. There was no real apology, no concern, no explanation, and seemingly no interest in addressing the fact that we had just been given a room with a leaking A/C unit and wet carpet. We were simply handed keys to another room and sent on our way. And unfortunately, the second room wasn't exactly a solution either. It also has a faint mildew smell, and the A/C unit was leaking as well. It wasn't nearly as bad as the first room, but at that point we just let it go because we figured this was probably the best room we were going to get. Apparently, the solution to a leaking, mildew-smelling room is to give you another leaking, mildew-smelling room and hope you stop complaining. The rest of the hotel isn't much better. The hallways are visibly falling apart, with carpet literally coming up in places. That isn't just ugly—it’s a legitimate tripping and safety hazard. The entire property looks like basic maintenance has been ignored for years. And then there's the 4.4 rating.... Honestly, anyone who rates this hotel above a 1 either didn't actually stay here, was blindfolded the entire time, or is being extremely generous with the definition of “good hotel.” I genuinely cannot understand how anyone could walk through this property, see the condition of the rooms and hallways, and think, “Yep, 4.4 stars sounds about right.” A hotel can be older without being this poorly maintained. The problem isn't that this place is dated—the problem is that it appears to have been completely neglected. Would I stay here again? Absolutely not!! Would I recommend it? Only if you enjoy mildew, wet carpet, falling-apart hallways, and wondering whether the hotel has been maintained since the last century. If you're considering booking this hotel because of its 4.4 rating, keep looking. That rating did not match our experience in the slightest.

  In the contest of my worst hotel experiences ever, this place is tied with a hotel I once stayed at in Montreal (off of Saint Catherine) where I woke up covered in bed bug bites. At least that place refunded me though. I didn't even spend two hours here and yet they're giving me an impossible time getting a refund. Cons: + An un-flushed piss in my room's toilet to greet me when I arrived. + Garbage-littered hallways. + Wrinkled hallway carpets (from obvious water-damage.) + Industrial fans running in the hallways (in a useless attempt to dry water-damaged hallways.) + Bed skirts that look like they were used for birdshot target practice. + Dark, pubic-esque hairs on the top-sheets. + Random tape attached to all of the walls and the ceiling. + A mysterious wet spot next to the bed that I stepped in and was too afraid to investigate any further. Pros: + If you're an enthusiast of rooms designed accurately in the manner of cheap motel rooms a la 1996 (Boxy television that takes three people to lift and all) then you might love this place! In conclusion, I hope no one is injured when this cursed stink-palace inevitably slides back into the sinkhole to the underworld from whence it came.

  Only reason to stay here was because it's convenient to get to the airport. Requested for shuttle night before and this morning the shuttle is late and with no gas to take us to the airport. Manager Brian offer to take us but we paid for an Uber ourselves and will not stay in this dirty, rundown hotel ever again

  A great hotel with a decent restaurant. Not common in smaller Holiday Inns. But not close to downtown. 18 mns drive. But closer to airport.

  This hotel is so dirty and run-down. I literally stayed downstairs all night because I couldn’t even get comfortable in the room. Even the chairs downstairs are filthy, and the carpet looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in forever. This has honestly been one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had.
