We have stayed here many times. It’s a perfect location for us, the breakfast is great, the beds are comfortable, housekeeping does a good job, the laundry facilities are convenient, and our dog is welcome. And the pricing is good. We will continue to stay here.

Drove 5+ hours to be met with people using illicit drugs and smoke coming out of their vehicles. People were panhandling and appeared to be living in their cars in the proximity of the hotel. Unsafe location the photos won’t show you that there are people living in the units and this is more an extended living motel than a hotel. There were floral pots in people’s windows, totally misleading from the advertisements. This place gives Skid Row vibes stay away if you enjoy your safety. When I looked at the room the toilet was an elementary sized toilet for ants. The room was outdated, dingy, and not what the photos show. Peter at the front lied that he and his manager Troy were going to refund me after I cancelled the reservation after doing an initial walk in. Never got my money back, was even supposed to come back for another visit but would gladly stay at a safer location.
I felt like I was in a clean room. Hospitality was great! I liked the breakfast being cook to order & servers were accommodating! I felt safe being alone & their rules of not letting towels & trash build up outside the rooms was appreciated. It was a straight shot to UW Medical Center.
My only complaint is when I went to get some forks, knives & spoons from the front desk they were not in a bag & was handed to me handle first so I felt the needed to wash before using.
My king bed suite was great. Everything was clean, pretty well furnished, and in good working order.
In the front room, a firm comfortable couch with a sturdy coffee table, and end tables. Also a desk height table and chair, though that table was a bit shaky... I wouldn't try sitting on that table. LOL. Nice big screen TV, though I didn't use it.
In between the front and rear rooms, was a small wet bar (small sink and counter) with a single cup coffee pot and ice bucket. On the wall behind/above the wet bar was a large modern designed mirror with in-set lights that were perfect for enough light without being too bright and glaring.
The bathroom had a slightly over-sized oval shaped tub. No jets, and not as big as a 2-person jacuzzi, but big enough for 2 if you're both not too big.
And in the back room was the king bed, with side tables, another TV (lots of people love televisions) sitting on a tall dresser/cabinet that also held the refrigerator and microwave. It would make more sense to me to have the fridge and microwave in the front room, next to the wet bar... but it didn't really to me, as I wasn't doing any cooking or dealing with food.
Location is good for easy on/off the Beltline, and if you want to be on the Westside of Madison. Plenty of restaurants in the area, but not easily walkable, unless you're a hiker.
I'm checking the box for "luxury", because overall very good, including on on-site bar and restaurant, business center, and other amenities... but I didn't tour the place.
Only stay of you don't care and need to sleep one night. Very depressing place, kitchen is empty, not a single plate or fork. So don't waste money on upgrade. And if you need plate, they will give you plastic one. Hotels itself is not terrible, it's just not as expected. And owners very cheap, if they could wash toilet paper, they would. The good: good TV with apps and it's pretty fresh, few years after remodel. Not full remodel, but ok. Stuff was friendly and polite.
