  My fiancée and I frequent Grand Geneva Resort often. Been going there for 25 years. We stay at the actual resort and also have a time share there with Holiday Inn vacation club on the premises as well. We golf every time and hosted 2 groups of golf this week. We go to get some peace from our daily lives. While most of our experiences are delightful, this past week was not the best. The bathrooms have possible mold or mildew and peeling paint in the shower area. The shuttle driver that picked us up for dinner was blaring music that was very inappropriate on one of the nights. Regardless, let’s start with the dinners…our dinner at The Chop House was awesome! Melissa is an absolute breath of fresh air and have nothing negative to say about her or the meal. The next night at Brassago is a different story. Our server “Maddie”? Maybe? She was very sweet but had zero idea what was going on. Didn’t know specials, my fiancée had to actually open the bottle of wine for her with the wine key, asked for red onion on a salad and she was hesitant and had to ask the chef. I thought and said to our group that maybe she was new. Nope. Started last September. She needs training for this kind of elevated service and establishment. Let’s move on to what really upsets us. We stayed on premise for 3 nights and 4 days. My fiancée accidentally left 2 pair of jeans, a nice bad birdie golf shirt, dress pants, underwear and socks in a drawer. Probably $400.00ish worth of garments. We were on our way home when we realized this. Yes it is our fault. Of course we take a modicum amount of responsibility. However, we called right away and talked to…front desk, security and housekeeping. Literally nobody would help us. They said they can’t knock on new guests door. They were there for 2 nights. We have made, at this point, 5 phone calls and nobody knows anything. Housekeeping on the 5th call said there was no record of anyone inquiring. Basically, a “too bad for you” mentality. I feel like housekeeping should check closets and drawers when they turn over a room. The front desk actually agreed that it is housekeepings duty to do so. For the amount of money they charge and we spend there we are super unimpressed with Grand Geneva and their on premise staff.

  Spa in disrepair..tennis courts a mess...pickleball lines on tennis courts...golf pro arrogant and unresponsive..food expensive and at best medicore...

  Marie in Spa and Banquets was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was so kind, helpful, and attentive throughout the entire experience. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and always made us feel welcomed and valued. Her positive attitude and willingness to help did not go unnoticed. We truly appreciated all of her hard work and would highly recommend her to anyone!

  Everyone here was extremely nice and helpful. Loved the Geneva Club experience as well. Margo was super nice and gave great ideas on places to visit in town!! I really enjoyed the scenic walking trails too! I got some great exercise in.

  My concern with this place was safety measures. The last night me and my cousin were there an unknown male entered our room with a room key. He did not announce himself or say anything to us just opened the door and closed it back once he seen we were in the room. This was around 10:30 last night. When I called the front desk, I felt completely dismissed about the concern. The manager told me there were no other keys made for the room and continued to tell me that it was probably the cleaning staff doing rounds and might have went to the wrong room. When I checked out I asked what the protocol was for the cleaning staff when entering rooms and the young lady at check-out informed me they are to announce themselves as they enter the room. Which again, this person did not do NOR did this person have on a uniform. It was a white male in regular clothing and was wearing a cap.
