  Very clean, comfortable room. Comfy bed, quiet except for the person above us who walked like a herd of buffalo but that's not the hotel's fault. Definitely somewhere I will return in the future.

  This HIE had a lot going for it but, I took off a star because of a couple of inconveniences. The room was very well lit and I really appreciate that. The entry could use a brighter bulb but aside from that it was a very bright room. The property looked well maintained and the staff were friendly. One inconvenience was the temperature control that is motion activated. Our room was very warm upon check in because there had been no motion in the room for quite some time. During the night the temperature also did not stay at the set even though I was told even slight movement turns on the unit. I agree with "green" but need to find a way to make sure the guest has a comfortable nights sleep. Second inconvenience - we have stayed at a LOT of HIE's and I have never experienced cinnamon rolls that were not warm when brought out for guests. They were actually cold and I was told to give them 5 minutes and they would be warm. They weren't warm and soft like most experiences. Not sure why they weren't warm to start with. And, of course, they are something we look forward to at our HIE stay!

  Desk guy the first day said he'd call us when room was ready as we got there at 2. They're supposed to be ready at 3. He didn't. He wasn't helpful and shouldn't be working the front desk. The continental breakfast was WONDERFUL. Clean, and a great variety of food. The people cleaning rooms were loud for 8AM.

  My family and I stopped here for 1 night on the way to Door County. The hotel was very clean and the staff was pleasant. It is easy to get to right off the interstate. The breakfast had a good variety of items and was typical for a hotel of this type. After a long day of driving, we enjoyed walking on the street next to the hotel which ends in a soccer complex. There is a Love's with a Hardees and a Mobil station with a Dunkin within walking distance also. Overall, this was a nice place to stay. No complaints.
