  The staff was excellent & very accommodating. Breakfast was superb & the warm apple & cherry turnovers were delicious! Location was close to the airport, restaurants & mall. Save our bottle opener, we will definitely return!

  If all Best Western properties were managed as well as this property I would spend many more nights staying in this chain. I stayed for a week for the PGI convention. I was checked in by Sallie who was 100% customer satisfaction focused. I had a couple of coworkers who hadn't made reservations early so Sallie worked her magic and got them 2 rooms as well saving our company a significant amount. The thing that I liked the best other than Sallie, Linda and part time Jessica was the communication. Throughout the hotel are signs explaining that they are busy and short staff so please let us know if you need anything else and what to expect. No guessing games, just straight to the point, how the pickle squirts. If I hadn't promised my family I wouldn't ever open another restaurant, I'd poach this team, and open a restaurant in Appelton and clean up with amazing customer focused team. Keep up the great work BW Appleton!

  Fairly middle of the road hotel, all of the expected amenities, comfortable beds, average breakfast. Perhaps a little pricey for what you get, especially considering it's just in a small city like Appleton. A fine place to sleep for the night, all in all. What I really loved about this place though, was the late night front desk attendant, Tim. He was very friendly and helpful when we checked in sometime after midnight. This would have been an average, forgettable hotel experience if not for him. Tim deserves a raise!

  I was charged an additional $925 dollars and no one can seem to have an answer for me on what happened or how to get a refund. Good luck trying to get ahold of a manager, because they work at the hotel down the road and will not answer any emails, phone calls etc.. It’s been 2 days now, you’d think this would be a pressing matter for management, not the case.

  Nice hotel in a really nice location. And staff was super helpful. It’s one of the busiest weekends of the year (Mile of Music) and they’re short staffed. Despite that, when we complained about the shower drain not draining properly, the girl at the front desk took care of it herself. The room is clean, and it’s nice being so close to the mall.
