There is a beautiful locked courtyard that included a bike rack, BBQ grills, and seating areas. The hot tub was so relaxing after biking along lake Altoona. There are restaurants and shopping that spans for miles between EauClair and Altoona. Accross the street from the hotel is a grocery store that must be the world's largest ! Woodmans grocery is bigger than big, I mean humongous. We love to bicycle or walk along the trails. The beautiful area of Altoona and EauClair is a great place to relax, shop, and bike ride. The hotel was clean, the staff was very pleasant, the rooms were very comfortable along with a reasonable price for a 2 room suite.
