  Surprisingly Comfortable, Family-Friendly Stay with Great Value! We stayed at avid hotel by IHG in Wenatchee during our Oktoberfest trip, and I must say, this hotel pleasantly exceeded our expectations! ROOM & COMFORT The room reminded me of the Microtel concept—compact but thoughtfully designed to maximize every inch of space. Despite its smaller footprint, it comfortably accommodated a king-size bed, a work desk, a chair, and a mini refrigerator. Traveling with our baby, I particularly appreciated the chair, which was comfortable for gently rocking her while holding her. The mini refrigerator was also extremely useful for storing milk. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious for a compact hotel room. I also appreciated the wall-mounted Dove toiletries, including shampoo, conditioner, and other personal care products. Much more convenient than dealing with tiny individual bottles! COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST Breakfast was another pleasant surprise. They offered a good selection of cereals, bagels, fruit, scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, potatoes, coffee, and juices. Nothing extravagant, but honestly, it covered everything we needed for a satisfying breakfast without having to leave the hotel and spend extra money elsewhere. HOSPITALITY The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. We also received two complimentary bottles of water, which was a thoughtful gesture. A special mention to Paul, who introduced himself as an IHG ambassador. He personally checked on how our stay was going and even gave us his business card. Small gestures like these make guests feel appreciated. OVERALL My wife mentioned that the experience reminded her of another avid hotel we stayed at in New York, which speaks to the brand's consistency. For travelers who prioritize cleanliness, functionality, comfort, complimentary breakfast, and reasonable pricing over unnecessary luxury, this hotel is an excellent choice. Would I stay again? Absolutely! Highly recommended for couples, families with babies, or anyone visiting Wenatchee looking for a comfortable, practical, and affordable stay.

  Very pleased with my stay. Older gentleman named Dave was very helpful & nice. They had EV charging including with my stay. Definitely will consider staying here again.

  Great Stay at avid hotel Wenatchee! We had a wonderful stay at avid hotel Wenatchee. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout our visit. Paul, the hotel ambassador, stopped by to ask how our experience was, which was a really nice personal touch. The kids especially loved the breakfast and had a blast in the pool. The gym was also great and well-equipped for a quick workout. Overall, it was a smooth, enjoyable stay, and we’d gladly come back!

  The physical accommodations at this hotel are satisfactory: the breakfast offers a decent spread, the rooms are clean and bright, and the location is convenient for reaching major local spots. The inclusion of EV charging bays and 24-hour free coffee are also great amenities. However, when a hotel’s service feels cold and unwelcoming from the start, the overall quality of the stay deteriorates significantly. My walk-in check-in experience as a business traveler was highly unprofessional. Of the two receptionists on duty, the male representative completely avoided eye contact. While the female receptionist was assisting another guest, I stood at the counter expecting the male representative to help me. Instead of acknowledging me, explaining that he was busy, or inviting me to take a seat, he completely ignored me. I eventually sat down in the reception area to wait for his colleague to finish. Management can easily verify this hostile lack of service by reviewing the lobby security camera footage. An international hotel chain should be open, inclusive, and willing to receive international guests warmly, regardless of race, ethnicity, or nationality. Furthermore, dining options are quite limited. Even if the hotel does not operate a full-scale restaurant, it would be a major improvement if they could provide simple grab-and-go options like cold sandwiches. While the property has potential, the poor front-desk hospitality severely impacted my business stay.
