  The physical accommodations at this hotel are satisfactory: the breakfast offers a decent spread, the rooms are clean and bright, and the location is convenient for reaching major local spots. The inclusion of EV charging bays and 24-hour free coffee are also great amenities. However, when a hotel’s service feels cold and unwelcoming from the start, the overall quality of the stay deteriorates significantly. My walk-in check-in experience as a business traveler was highly unprofessional. Of the two receptionists on duty, the male representative completely avoided eye contact. While the female receptionist was assisting another guest, I stood at the counter expecting the male representative to help me. Instead of acknowledging me, explaining that he was busy, or inviting me to take a seat, he completely ignored me. I eventually sat down in the reception area to wait for his colleague to finish. Management can easily verify this hostile lack of service by reviewing the lobby security camera footage. An international hotel chain should be open, inclusive, and willing to receive international guests warmly, regardless of race, ethnicity, or nationality. Furthermore, dining options are quite limited. Even if the hotel does not operate a full-scale restaurant, it would be a major improvement if they could provide simple grab-and-go options like cold sandwiches. While the property has potential, the poor front-desk hospitality severely impacted my business stay.

  My husband and I recently stayed at the Avid Hotel. My husband was there for work and I tagged along! So glad I did. The hotel was amazing. The pool was the perfect temperature and the hot tub was actually working. I've found since Covid, alot of hotels don't have working hot tubs so this was a bonus, especially for my husband. The rooms are very safe and sound proof. Super clean as well. The complimentary buffet wasn't anything to exciting but who's complaining to free food! We were there a total of 4 days, 3 nights and on the 4th morning the breakfast changed so that was exciting lol. What really made me write this review tho is the hotel employees. Roy was an absolute sweetheart! Any questions or favors I had he was quick to assist and with such a gorgeous smile on his face. There were also 2 ladies who's names I did not get and I regret it because they helped me with surprising my husband with a cute date night! All in all, I will Def be staying here again. Thank you!

  I didn't stay, just needed some electrons after driving across the state and landing in a nearby hotel that wasn't near any car charger. When I asked the nice lady at the front desk if I could pay to charge for a few hours, she very graciously allowed me to park for a few hours without charging me anything. The hotel quality was apparent from the lobby. I will definitely try to stay at this hotel next time. Thanks for such excellent service, even when I wasn't a customer.

  This brand new Avid hotel exceeded my expectations. The cleanliness is impeccable, and it boasts a great location. Paul was very professional and helpful, and the rest of the friendly staff made me feel right at home in my incredibly spacious room, which featured great amenities. To top it all off, they serve a great breakfast. Highly recommended!
