*** UPDATED ON AUG 18 - AFTER HOTEL'S REPLY***
Absolutely NO REFUND was processed. I'm still waiting for an answer by official channels (customer service email for example) but after several messages, I received nothing from them. Credit card remains with no expense refund from the Hotel. They have my phone number, they have my email, they have the messages sent through hotels.com, but they only replied this public comment with a false statement.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Very disappointing experience. My stay had already been fully prepaid through Hotels.com, but after check-out Warwick Seattle charged an additional USD 552.64 to my credit card.
I contacted the hotel immediately and was told the charge would be reversed, but it was processed anyway. I also followed up in writing and received no response.
Weeks later, I am still waiting for the refund. Very poor handling of a serious billing issue.
This was our third time staying at the Warwick. We hadn't been back for a few years, but loved it before. It was lacking.
We paid nearly $800 for the Staycation Package. I posted a picture of what it was supposed to include. We asked for late check out and they let us stay until noon. When we checked in it was not friendly. She didn't tell us about the free breakfast and we were supposed to have a room upgrade but did not. I feel like we spent extra on that package and it didn't matter.
DO NOT stay here when it is hot. We stayed in Early August for an IVE concert and there was zero air-conditioning. Our room temp was 77 degrees the entire stay. We stayed on floor 16 and it costs more the higher the floor. The bathrooms are renovated on the higher floors. We had an updated bathroom but the room still felt dated. The TV went out our second night and when we called they said it was out for the entire hotel for the night.
Honestly, I used to love this hotel. I had wonderful memories staying here, but unfortunately probably won't again. No air conditioning in August was miserable and the $800 price for two nights was not worth it because it was too hot to sleep. The hotel staff didn't seem to care and weren't friendly. We are coming back for another concert in October and I would stay somewhere else for the price and it would be more comfortable.
Hello from southeast Texas.
We stayed at the Warwick Seattle prior to our Alaska cruise.
Mr. Anderson was at the check-in counter when we arrived; he was a fun person; we felt very welcomed. We had just hoofed it from Westlake Plaza with all our luggage, so his warm welcome was a big deal to us.
Our room had a view of the Space Needle, which absolutely made our day.
We loved the hotel’s restaurant; the staff were very hospitable.
The location was great for site seeing, and we loved the nearby pizza restaurant.
We plan to return to Seattle, and will definitely stay at the Warwick again.

Definitely do not stay here.
The Pros:
- Kind staff upon check-in
The Cons:
- we got to our room on the 10th floor and it was absolutely awful. Stains and marks all over the place.. even a Tic Tac left on the floor clearly from the previous guests.
- the bathroom is extremely small and the only part of the room that has been "renovated" since the 80s
- they only provide conditioning shampoo and bar soap
- they have a bot that texts you after check in to see how everything is. I shared with them how awful the room is and they responded that they would have someone come to clean it. When we got back from the concert we were attending, no one had been in the room...the tic tac is still in place.
- when closing the curtains to sleep, there are marks and stains all over them
- going to bed my daughter was worried about bed bugs because of how unclean this room is
We are cutting our stay short by 3 nights to literally go stay anywhere but here.
My July 2026 visit was a bit of a disappointment because of little things.
I've stayed at the Warwick several times between 2010-2020, and most recently around 2023. No significant problems on past trips, and a decent location in downtown.
But the Warwick is starting to show it's age since last remodel (in 2010?). Still decent, but multiple small problems on this visit: after flush the toilet was a noisy refill lasting 5 minutes; hotel hair dryer had no heat; sink drained painfully slowly. I reported all three problems the first morning (Wednesday). When I got back to hotel that eve the toilet fully fixed. There was a replacement dryer, but only the "low" setting worked. And sink still draining painfully slow. I was checking out Fri morning, so didn't bother calling again.
I'd give 3.5 stars but have to round, so rounding up to 4 stars.
Finally, I think the Warwick used to be able to rely on views of the Space Needle from most rooms. But over the last 10 years new construction now blocks the view from most rooms. I'd advise the Warwick to step up their game.
