Stayed here for two nights before our cruise. The location is convenient and yet not as crowded as the main tourist area. There are several restaurants and a Starbucks nearby (more on this later). The room is spacious, clean and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. There are yoga mat, foam rollers and some basic equipment to have a decent work out in your room. There is also a larger than usual fitness room at the lobby with many cardio equipments, free weights and strength training machines made by Nautilus. My main issue has to do with the breakfast. My room rate includes breakfast. On the weekend, breakfast is served from 7:30a. From the time we stood in line to order to the time we received our food, it was a total of 45 minutes. Beside the long wait, the food quality is also subpar. It is apparent that food is prepared off-site and heated up in the kitchen. The building also houses the Staybridge hotel which includes breakfast buffet. From talking to the staff, they admitted that the food is sourced for both hotels. It would have been better if they just give us access to the buffet. If they are charging al la carte for breakfast, I would expect freshly made ingredients instead. Finally, the coffee is also not up to Seattle standard. You can make your own coffee in your room with the KCup. They only provide the standard breakfast blend. Or pay $4.00 to get a cup downstairs, which also tasted watery. If you are picky about your morning coffee, walk two blocks to Starbucks to get your morning joe instead. Having said all that, the staff were courteous and helpful.

So the highlight of my stay at the Even was Kristen from the bar. She absolutely rocked with a super amazing personality and a desire to help all the guests feel welcome. Made me feel like I was home. Hire more Kristens- and pay the OG Kristen more! ;-)

Overall not a bad stay. Stayed for a work event which was within walking distance for the event which was nice. Staff were super friendly from check-in to check-out. We were able to check in early which was super nice since our flight landed before noon. The room was really clean and nicely put together. Biggest downside to the room was the bed. Absolutely awful - could clearly see sagging dip marks in the mattress which made sleeping incredibly uncomfortable. The pillows were also very flat. Still have neck and lower back pain two days later. Other drawbacks were the prices for food. Breakfast was very expensive. Luckily we were provided breakfast and lunch at our work event so we didn’t have to pay for food at the hotel. Other than that, not a bad stay for a business trip.

Had a nice quick trip to Seattle recently with my wife and we did like the location of this hotel with it being so close to everything and convenient. Just a heads up, the hotel charges for mostly everything, even a basic exercise floor mat, back roller and whatever else they had in the room’s corner which is ridiculous honestly. One thing that bothered me is the front desk and staff are just stale and have quick responses when it comes to customer service. I just called to verify if my check out was processed in the early morning and was told that the refund will be be processed within 2-4 business days which is reasonable. What just bothered me was that there was no “ do you need any further assistance with anything?” Or at least attempt to help some more in a way , and neither a “ you have a great rest of your day”before abruptly hanging up on me without notice . Hotel needs to do better on customer service side in my opinion.

At the EVEN Hotel Our car got broken into was so devastating my suit case I was cruising with got stolen I didn’t have anything to use having a secured structure under the hotel gates go down the only thing that was wrong was having access to the alley way was always open to bums on the stairs for emergency don’t get me wrong it’s great but they don’t lock it from the outside And on top of this no one ever said we r sorry we can comp u a night dinner anything rude in my opinion right …i doubt they even look at the cameras too So I asked my husband can u look on the emergency stairwell see if they atleast left anything of my clothes to wear to Alaska …I knkw we should of tooken in our suitcase to the room but when u see how safe it is u don’t think about getting broken into your truck they slashed my windows to get anything I was heart broke …scared and all the police said u have to file a police report we can’t come out there for something like this bullshit ….and on top of it we have to pay for parking like shouldn’t be free since we r paying for our room and security…under ground is so tight the parking is so small too …my advice don’t stay there find something out of the city …was told this wasn’t the first time it’s happened recently 😡
